Having just hit jackpot with doubled up Sunderland defenders against Arsenal, I might even triple up when I ditch Sakho

Having watched MOTD and Fabragas gifted the freedom of Bournemouth, I'm less convinced he's a good option. The pressing style of Leicester and Liverpool could easily nullify him, and I doubt things will be much better vs Spurs.
I have no idea which Chelsea players to have, if any.

you could be right, I think it's just the lack of really good DGW midfielders that seem to make him an option.BobMem wrote:Having watched MOTD and Fabragas gifted the freedom of Bournemouth, I'm less convinced he's a good option. might hold off on the Chelsea midfield until GW37 itself, pick a place holder with a great GW36 fixture and then see how things look the following week.

But you have 3 striker positions, right?Gambit wrote:Up front is hard, with LVG playing Rooney deeper it looks like Rashford is nailed and with a GW38 of Bournemouth (home) he is looking the pick for me at the moment. Defoe looked sharp today, so I think it will be two from Rashford/Defoe/Sturridge.

Could we reset this poll after the game tonight, as I think thoughts might have changed after GW36 and the fresher results would be more useful?

Which forwards do we prefer now for the final 2/3 games?
I'm looking at transfering in one of Carroll, Defoe, Costa, or Martial. Aguero might make way to free funds for a DGW defender and Sanchez for GW38. Carroll has been scoring high points now so he would be my #1 choice were he a certain starter.

I would be wary about getting rid of Aguero for a must-win game at home to Arsenal, especially if they go out of the CL.
If they lose that Arsenal game there's a very big chance they won't get CL next season. Kun will play (and score) imo.

I disagree, he looked very tired last week and I'm sure the game this week will take it out of the City players, don't get me wrong, I am certain he will play against Arsenal (and probably score) but it won't be an easy game, Arsenal will have had a full weeks rest and for me there are DGW players who can easily match or beat Aguero this weekNailer6245 wrote:I would be wary about getting rid of Aguero for a must-win game at home to Arsenal, especially if they go out of the CL.

Brad smith getting a ban should make moreno less of a risk

I was wondering about that. I need to replace Ake as he's a rotation risk, so a rotation risk Liverpool player looks the best planMultiple Scorgasms wrote:Brad smith getting a ban should make moreno less of a risk

A player I was looking at for my GW1 team was Berghuis at Watford and I'm considering him again for the double. He's a winger in a side lacking players of his type and since finally getting some game time has been impressing.

Surely Noble is a contender?

Re: Who are your 'Must have' DGWers for DGW37 ??
After transfers I have 9 doublers - Robles, Cresswell, Smalling, van Aanholt, Fabregas, Hazard, Payet, Deeney, Carroll.
SW players are Ozil, Kane, Sanchez, Simpson, Gabriel, Mingolet (guessing he gets rested).
Took a lot of hits to get this team but I an hopeful for a huge score and AoA in GW38.

I think Robles may not get any minutes the rest of the season - you're running the risk of no keepers there....

On what ground?
Last I read here, it was reported that Howard was let having the farewell home games, but that Robles would have regularly featured in the two away dgw games
Do you simply mistrust the news reported here, or has there been some more recent development?

And it started last week when Howard played 90mins. I didn't read anything about Home/Away games, but you may be right of course. The Username wrote:With the later game weeks in mind my concern would be that there is a lot of good will toward Howard at the club and if Everton didnt have a lot to play for come GW 37 i wouldnt be surprised to see him get game time as a kind of farewell for his 10 years of service.

Fine, I've got no firsthand info myself, I was only reporting what others had posted, and was genuinely interested whether you had fresher news.Beerfuelledman wrote:MoSe wrote:On what ground?

That Everton FC article is pretty clear
I guess my question now is:-
1) Robles Vs Champions Leicester and Sunderland fighting for their lives
or
2) Darlow Vs Aston Villa...

I went with Gomes & Mannone...
I was actually hoping for a Watford CS vs Aston Villa in GW36 too, but they conceded two to Villans , so Darlow's one is not granted either
True, Toons need it a bit more than Hornets did

Well, don't ask me why but I have a sneaking feeling that Mannone will do something good this week. Make loads of saves in a miracle CS, save a penalty, get a few BPs, something like that. I just hope he does it against Everton and not against Chelsea (at the cost of my TC).MoSe wrote:I went with Gomes & Mannone...
