Agreed but my WC team netted out at 0.0, so no spare funds.Notned wrote:Townsend is the better bet, if you can stretch for the extra 0.1m.Libero wrote:Lennon, crocked, to someone with a GW35 fixture.
I already have Iwobi.
Looking at his recent shots stats, I'm tempted by Sissoko. It's Wijnaldum who's been playing deeper in midfield. I can do All Out Attack in GW36 to play Sissoko and Iwobi in good fixtures and then he plays Villa while I bench Iwobi at Man City. Sounds like a plan. Also, Sissoko is bang on 5.6 which must be a good omen.

-4pt hit.
I think Coutinho just cemented his place as Liverpool's most important player, hence you'd think he'd be the most at risk of being wrapped in cotton wool and protected more for Europe.
Milner is a machine and less likely to be rotated. Also captain and with Can's injury perhaps less likely to be rotated even more now.
May bring in Milner and Firmino, although Coutinho in this form is the most desirable.
Might wait a little longer for any word from Klopp.

so many options this week. at least this should bring some diversity in teams. Was tempted by Liverpool players but wary now due to very high rotation risk. Maybe a punt on a Watford striker or a City defender.

Re: GW34 Transfers
This is my team (bench boost). Brought Smalling in for Dann and Milner for Bolasie (v nervous about Milner and Coutniho and lukaku...) with 0.7m ITB.
de gea / mig
Smalling / evans / bellerin / coleman / Simpson
Coutinho / Milner / Ozil / Sanchez / Payet
Martial / Lukaku / Kane
Anything I'm missing here (other than i have to take -4 for gw25)

Wildcarded last week but looking at a -4 to sort out the defence.
Darmian Fosu-Mensah
Gabriel Monreal
These are under consideration at the moment.

is gabriel injured or what? if he's fit surely that is an awful waste of a transfer. it's likely darmian and mensah will play one game each too so maybe another waste of a transfer.MartyBhoy7 wrote:Wildcarded last week but looking at a -4 to sort out the defence.

Re: GW34 Transfers
I've got Hennessey (Arsenal and United away) and Schmeichel (WHU at home). Is it necessary to get another goalkeeper with better fixtures than Hennessey?
It will cost me 4 points.
Current defence: Alderweireld, Bellerin, Clichy, Wollscheid, Fosu-Mensah.

Lennon -> Lanzini, probably Bolasie -> Alli for a -4 hit as well.
E: Jumped in the TFM bandwagon instead. So Lennon -> Lanzini, Delaney -> Fosu-Mensah it is.

Based purely on GW34 would you rather have Rojo for -4 or Clyne for free?

Re: GW34 Transfers
personally im keeping him, but im also wildcarding gw 36, so replacing him for me would be a 1 week punt (playing Lloris next week). If its your fpl team in the link and you used both wildcards, i think mignolet is a good option that covers both gameweeks and isn't too expensive.Joccki_10 wrote:I've got Hennessey (Arsenal and United away) and Schmeichel (WHU at home). Re: GW34 Transfers
Post WC I'm struggling to decide between a few options...
Should I switch Gabriel to Iwobe via a -4?
Or
Should moving Dann and Bolaise on be my priority
Or
Should I be switching Sakho for Moreno/other
Could easily take a -20 this week
How did Bolaise play over the last couple of games?

Re: GW34 Transfers
Like everyone I am struggling with a few thoughts.
In hindsight I much prefer Iwobi to Gabriel for my third arsenal playing, but it would effectively be for a -8 as I need my 2 frees to get a possible 11 out for GW35 - though how likely this is with 4 players from pool and City following their success in Europe is anyone's guess. In reality Iwobi may not play both games as he is still young and Gabriel could continue in defence if Wenger is looking to build the Kos, Gabriel partnership so I think its probably not worth it.
Other than that I am worried about Coutinho, Aguero and De Bruyne but they should all play at least one game and have the ability to score well even in a part game so I will definitely hold here.
Certainly not feeling as confident with my selections as I was a week ago but I think I will stick to the plan, play my BB and carry over my free transfer.

Done for -4.
Gabriel > Simpson
Lennon > Iwobi
Thanks Lennon for screwing my hit free plan!
Fielding 12 doublers this week and will have 11 playing next week with the next free transfer.

Re: GW34 Transfers
What do we make of Sakho?
I have the money to make him Creswell for a hit, and think Creswell could have a great DGW. Dunno why more aren't mentioning him.
Really I'd need Sakho to play at least one this week and in 35 to make me want to keep him, as playing in 35 is the only reason why I'd prefer him now.
DDG / Robles
Bellerin / Rojo / Sakho / Gabriel / Simpson
Sanchez / De Bruyne / Firmino / Mahrez / Lanzini
Aguero / Martial / Kane

Flanagan Simpson.
Ward Fosu-Mensah.
Bolasie Milner.
-8.
Some poor picks/planning has left me with a sizeable hit this week but hoping the bench boost will more than make up for it.

Re: GW34 Transfers
Two options for me after some thinking:
A. Lennon -> Townsend
B. Lennon -> Iwobi and Monreal -> Simpson (4 point hit)
Due to Lennon injury and having three Arsenal players. A. would be a hit-free option to get a somewhat in form DGW player (who also plays GW35). B. Would free significant funds and allegedly get a better midfielder (although I have suspicions about Iwobi starting both DGW games). Not sure what to do, any thoughts?
PS. Just figured Lukaku is also flagged now. Erhm.

I've been very settled in my plans, but Lennon & Lukaku, Liverpool rotation and Palace getting two CS all thrown me a wobbly. I'm not looking at or considering any of it until the rest of the press conference updates are in. A bit more info on Lukaku and Lennon would be very Use(rname)ful

Cresswell is a good pick, although WH are leaking a few goals at the moment, his crosses for Carroll offer lots of attacking possibility.IceCreamFirm wrote:What do we make of Sakho?

The problem as you point out is GW35 - you are already short of players for that week and Cresswell gives you another blank. For what it it is worth, I'd be surprised if Sakho didn't play 2 of the GW34/5 games.

What two would you have over the next few weeks out of:
Ozil
Coutinho
Milner
Sturridge
Martial
Considering I only have Mignolet from Liverpool, and two of Barkley, Alli or Kane would be making way.

Re: GW34 Transfers
I think I need Sanchez in as triple captain and with Lennon and Lukaku as doubt as well as their disappointing returns last week I'm looking at
Lukaku Rashford
Lennon Sanchez
for a 4 point hit.
Tempted to take another -4 to get a Liverpool player in as well.

I'm toying between:
A) No changes
B) Lennon -> Townsend
C) Lennon -> Nasri and Fuchs -> Simpson (-4 points)
D) Lennon -> Nasri and Lukaku -> Martial/Rashford (-4 points)
My rival has Lennon and has made two transfers - could be Lennon, could be others.
Anyone who saw Nasri or Townsend care to comment? (and others of course!)

Re: GW34 Transfers
What would you do?
Jags has to go
Thinking Clyne, Nasri, Townsend, Milner, Evans, McAuley or Otamendi
Hoping Lukaku will play
So
A) Jagielka / Barkley / Bolasie OUT - Clyne / Nasri / Townsend IN
B) Jagielka / Barkley / Darmian OUT - Clyne / Nasri / McAuley
C) Jagielka / Barkley / Bolasie OUT - McAuley / Nasri / Milner
D) Jagielka / Barkley / Darmian OUT - Clyne / Nasri / McAuley
E) Jagielka / Barkley / Darmian OUT - Evans / Milner / Otamendi
