I see you actually made up 270k in last 7 and 190k in last 4 (from 28 to 32)
otoh you already were 9 gws ago where you were 4 gws ago, and better

I myself have made up 260k in last 4, but of course it's easier to get from 513k to 253k, than from 306k to 116k as you did

why haven't anyione of us looked at your season records in the "genius" thread??
you really deserve to be compared with the top performers (indeed you're 58th in FFS HoF)
even your 3 "slips" were all in the 11k-17k range, which are results many here would dream achieving (I surely do)

Has anyone done a benchmark for this so that we can see the gaps? You know
100th - x points
1,000th - y points
10,000th - z points

FWIW after GW 32
c.60,000 - 1793 points
c.30,000 - 1818 points

Obviously it'd need updating weekly

In my case I have risen over 220K places since GW27, but I'm still lower than I was in GW22. This season has been a rollercoaster.
My initial target is always the Top 1% - so c.37k this year. I should stretch myself, not this year though (because if my season continues as it has been then 220K is still possible!)

MvL is keeping his one
you can check benchmark gaps on http://anewpla.net/fpl/index.php but for current GW only, it doesn't go back with gaps

Yes, if you look at my last post in this thread this morning I've got the gaps to the 10K mark since gw26. you can compare your score to mine to get your gap to it from our gameweek history.

It's amazing what I miss looking after 5 year old twins. They're away for a week over the school holidays and I get to potter around the forum, post more than my rank and captain pick, stress about the run-in instead of just cursory picks at some point in the week (& still compete in my mini-league). Good stuff!

Top 10k has been my target but it felt a long way away but a score of 49 so far this week has taken me from 45k to 25k. I will probably fall back a bit over the remainder of this gw, but with a bit of success on chips it suddenly seems possible.

Well that's pretty much the result I was hoping for, 2/3 of the required total gone in the BB week. Expecting another step back this week with the probable rotation issues meaning I'll likely only have 7 of the current XI supposed to be playing but that still give 3 weeks and a TC to get the remaining ground back.

First time Top 10k finishes has dropped slightly to 85.50%, I imagine that's going to fall off over the last few weeks as some big GW34 scores will be massing just outside the top 10k. This also caught my eye - "First time in top 10K since season start 7.1%"

Similar week to MvL up from 36k-12k with all sorts of fluctuation in between as the different strategies played out. My start of season target was to get into the top 5k for the first-time. I'm not sure if that is achievable, but I'll be disappointed to miss top 10k now.

Just outside the top 100k now, which is wonderful news considering the catastrophic season I've had. If I don't cock it up too much, I should comfortably finish inside the top 100k (which was my goal a month or more ago) and may just be able to squeeze a 2nd place finish in my ML.

Just going to relax and try to enjoy the run-in now.

I meant to add in my original post that it looks as if my 2 money leagues are sewn up. 99 point lead in one and 83 point lead in the other after this week.

I put 100 points exactly into the former 2nd place in one of them as he was swamped by WC/BB/TC, which he had used at random points earlier in the season. Morale sapper :)

2015/16 102,070 - Third season and the first as a fisoer. Could be better, could be worse.

I have made a lot of silly moves this season too and I think I can be a lot better next season.
6 weeks later, I'm sitting just outside 20k. WC activated and BB & TC still to use. Top 10k here I come!
After WC + BB combo = just inside 9k. :P TC will be unleashed on GW37.

Currently 65,629 with a pretty strong team for GW35 and a bench boost still to use. Won't go crazy with DGWers, but still confident I can keep on with green arrows to the end of the season.

I have WC and all chips available; think I can finish top 20k if I hit on a few more (c) choices.
Currently way above the above expectations from February - After a blip in GW27 (31 pts.), 5 straight green arrows have improved my OR from 102,010 to 6,712. 78.6 average score over those 5 weeks.

Thinking top 3K now.

Too greedy?? :P

Still only third in my money league despite moving up to 1300 OR. GW34 brought me a decent 167p but my two fellow rivals ended up with 195p and 183p thanks to Darmian and Bolassie among others. If I end up third int the ML the season will be a disappointment despite my high OR.

Being from Finland I have been battling for positions with Ville Rönkä last few weeks. After GW34 we are both on 2107p and going into GW35 with a 4p hit :D So my main goals for the rest of the season are obviously to beat Ville, end in the top 2 of my ML and hopefully beat the 1k OR. Too much asked?

  GW37 11260 4
  GW38 10550 2

Well that's frustrating, having got there, I couldn't stay there. I can point to two moments in the last 2 weeks that did it. An unnecessary heart over head -4 in GW37 that ultimately cost 9 points and this week calling a 50/50 wrong and taking Tadic over Mane that cost 11 points. Get rid of either of those two choices and I'd have been at 8100 or 7700 respectively. Eliminate both those mistakes and it could have been 6100. We'll gloss over the 25 weeks of mistakes prior to that....

Considering what a frustrating slog this season has been and how down I've been on it, it seems looking back although I missed the target, its still my best OR in 4 years, won 2 money leagues and got my name on a couple of sidegames, that I should actually be happy about it. That final rank still feels like an unscratched itch though. I guess jotting the progress down weekly like this has shown that if you set a target and work towards it sensibly, its probably (nearly...) achievable.

Oooh, so close MvL, bad luck. Has been fun to watch your journey to the edge though, if ultimately not quite enough. :D

So that 75.67% compares to the previous two 79% and 64%, so actually not a huge amount different to previous years after all then. Quite surprising that.

Hopefully we'll so lots of interesting fpldiscovery articles in the next few days dissecting it all.
