I also wanted him, and I could not afford a KdB drop or Sanchez rise to afford it.

Was leaning towards Payet, can always get Sanchez for Ozil at a later date

Re: GW24 Transfers
KDB to Sanchez before the latters rise yesterday. Left a smooth 0.0 in the bank. Not especially content with the move, since I do have some reservations about Alexis. Although his goal yesterday did encourage me a bit. Was also opting for Silva but the blank GW27 perhaps discouraged me. We'll see how this one plays out!

Re: GW24 Transfers
Seeing how DGW 25 seems a bit less likely now I might actually do KDB -> A.Ayew instead of getting another City midfielder. From what I've seen Ayew is currently playing as a striker and Swansea are doing better under Guidolin. However, I'd wait until the end of the day for any news regarding GW 25 before doing the transfer.

Re: GW24 Transfers
At this point, I might just roll my transfer. Carrying KDB but can now afford another drop and happy with my starting line up. First sub decent as well (albeit with tricky fixture). Gives me flexibility going forward.
May review if City have dgw in 25 to take advantage of sun as well.

Re: GW24 Transfers
Had two FTs, did:
KDB --> Sanchez
Mahrez --> Payet
Might regret the second, but we'll see. Mahrez will come back for GW27, hoping he stays quiet and drops a bit until then. Save me, Liverpool.

Re: RE: Re: GW24 Transfers
I have two frees but now Kdb has reached his maximum number of falls for the gameweek, he'll be back to zero% tomorrow evening at deadline and so is unlikely to fall again until at least Wednesday night.Aldershot Rejects wrote:At this point, I might just roll my transfer. I'm in a similar position to Aldershot and can leave the team this week benching Kdb, I do not like wasting a free transfer though and am considering
Moreno to Anyone (bench this week) - possibly Targett as have Simpson although maybe Wollschied who has good fixtures in 27 and 30

Re: GW24 Transfers
honestly with Firmino's form and playing out of position i might get him in even though there's the blank. I can use the extra money to upgrade my 5th midfielder as i have a feeling juggling players between doubles and Blanks will really benefit 8 strong front players.
My biggest fear with Firmino is obviously him losing his spot or atleast not playing full time with Benteke also in the team.

Got Firminho in for KDB yesterday. Myhill needs to be shifted, but might roll over the other FT

Re: GW24 Transfers
Keep him, if you can bench him this week. That's what I'm doing. His next four after tomorrow are really decent, and he is guaranteed two fixtures (and good ones, at that) in GW27/30 when several teams will have blanks.pdhmobile wrote:Arnautovic is 75% of playing, Im thinking of swapping for wijaldum, will Newcastle have a DGW in GW 27?

Re: GW24 Transfers
Not pulling the trigger yet just in case, but most likely KDB Payet.
Would have been Silva if the early City double looked a goer, but I'm not keen on adding another player I can't field in GW27 in the likely event the double comes after the blank.

Re: GW24 Transfers
Not when potentially, those transfers are -4s. Many of us are already in position where GW27 is a bit of a mire with regards getting XI out; making it worse is all well and good providing one can clairvoyantly announce we'll have no injuries/suspensions or anything else that eats transfers between now and then. I agree with getting in Payet over Silva/Yaya/Sterling if Man C are to have no double GW25. (it's 50/50 even with the double imo)Sugnid wrote:Isn't that what transfers are there for?Notned wrote:Not pulling the trigger yet just in case, but most likely KDB Payet.
