Part of me is half tempted by Ramsey again, but I'm reluctant after he failed me this week.

Had other options with ozil and lukaku but took a risk with Ramsey.

As pointed out by liquid in another thread, Ozil is a pretty big leader in the FFS poll. He's currently on 46% with Mahrez next on almost 20%.

Ozil is not one of those players that you expect goals from, although he does seem to have added more of them to his game this season I think it's still about assists and bonus points from him.

Mahrez being on pens and a much bigger goal threat, I do feel that hes got the higher upside. I definitely think he's far more capable of a brace.

Ozil though is a relatively safe pick.

I think Mahrez certainly has the most potential for an explosive haul, and that's why I'm currently on him. My only nagging doubt is that he is still due a rest which he has started to look like he is in need of, which I fear could come in what is a perceived easier fixture.

Brought Walcott in with the intention of captaining him in these two nice home fixtures. Part 1 was obviously a big failure, but still thinking I'll go ahead with part 2 unless there's any reason to believe he'll be rotated. I should probably just be sensible and captain Ozil, but Walcott seems much more likely to grab a brace or more.

Too reliant on 2 players for it to sustain. Vardy has been carrying an injury and is nowhere near as good as his recent purple patch suggests. Mahrez is very good but won't be able to carry them alone. It's a slow-motion meltdown and they'll finish 7th or 8th. That's my assessment anyway.

They certainly need Mahrez and Vardy on top form if they are to keep this run going, and I suppose that's what you mean here. I feel it somewhat overlooks the important contributions of Drinkwater and Kanté in midfield, the attacking threat of Albrighton and Fuchs down the left, and the impressive defensive qualities of Schmeichel, Morgan and Huth.

I got distracted during Ranieri's post match interview after the Man City game but I thought he said that he wouldn't rest players from the starting line-up but if they looked tired, he would give them 60 mins then take them off?

If so, did Mahrez look tired against Man City? This would have an impact on whether I choose him as capt.
