Song For Sharon

Post by ryan1044 »

whats the highest you have seen somebody with no transfers or effort put in?

I just came across a guy that was top 30000 with zero transfers.

my friend is top 15000 with 3 transfers only..

so much luck involved.

3 points from the bench tonight as well.

They must have logged in to bench Aquerro?

16th, with 9 free transfers unused and a wildcard plus all their chips to play.

If they would just start actually playing the game, they could seriously contend for the title

Those 9 transfers don't roll over though do they? You can only have a max rollover of 2 I thought.

Either way they are in a great position.

How do you know they haven't been playing the game? Can you see her log in details?

Not sure how many can roll over.

She obviously logged in to change formation, but not replacing Wilson pretty much equals not playing the game at this point, no? Especially with free transfers going to waste like that. To a lesser extent, keeping Aguero with free transfers in abundance makes no sense either.

I actually have a feeling this person may not be aware of the possibility of transferring players :)

Possibly. It could be someone who's opened another account and team as an experiment to see how'd they go without performing any transfers.

Obviously not allowed, but would actually make for a great experiment to follow.

I'm going to follow her with some interest.

I am willing to bet its an dead account that someone just made for fun and is not around playing the game anymore.

These kind of accounts pop up every year.

Actually, Aguero is and has been on her bench permanently. He came off it last week for a quick 25 points as a sub for the surprisingly omitted Mahrez. Serendipity :!:

Mahrez stayed on the bench vs Norwich?

That League must be well pi55ed off, as second spot is certainly active

Nope, the automatic substitutions through all the gameweeks managed that task for her.

Makes you wonder why we bother spending so much time here, eh :?:

Maybe she is running with the "if it's not broke don't fix it" idea?

It is very difficult to criticise her, either.

Actually, she probably can, because it seems like she's a "soccer mom" for the youth team that league is about.

My lil head went to her from Orphan Black :D

But from a quick skim of the League it looks to be South Coast based.

Maybe an "In Praise of Sharon" thread is required and any questions about transfers sent there with the riposte go get a life

Or "Copy This loser"

Actually, it's located near Cambridge, and although I would prefer not to be accused of stalking, they have a Twitter account which might easily be used by a FISO/FPL representative to offer congratulations on the team's performance.

[It was probably selected by a kid; there are additional rules for entrants under 18, and using an adult's name gets around them.]

Someone who has Twitter needs to get on this on behalf of FPL justice.

It's OK, I have an official police check certificate; in fact, they keep on checking me.

[Although as my brother the doctor insists, the only people with certificates to prove they are sane are those who, at some point, were not. :o ]

Looks like Sharon has some competition as top female: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/ ... history/9/

Only four transfers made

Is this some sort of Thathcherite Revolution of thrift and making do etc?

Sister's are doing it for themselves!

I don't know if I'm more shocked by her results, or the fact that Mark Schwarzer is still currently in the Premier League.

Anyway, happy 67 birthday for next week Mark! :D
