Payet Vs Mane
Just another quick question as I'm wildcarding! Payet (8) or Mane (7.8) for the upcoming weeks?

Re: Payet Vs Mane
Big fan of Payet. Was my 1st transfer in.
Although I am tempted by Mane myself, look pretty decent fixtures coming up, but I'm not swapping him for Payet

Re: Payet Vs Mane
Both are a good option but Southampton have better fixtures coming up and look really good at the moment.
Mane was excellent in the defeat against United and he took Chelsea apart yesterday. He has Leicester, Bournemouth, Sunderland, Stoke and Villa in the next 7 matches, cannot see him failing to score well. Payet looks a class player too but West Ham have some tricky games.
I would vote Mane but picking both could be good and fairly cheap considering point potential

Although it is tricky to fit them both in with all the other front 8 options available.
My ideal front 8 at the moment would be:
Mahrez, Payet, Mane, Sanchez, De Bruyne
Vardy, Martial, Aguero
Although that leaves things very front heavy so something's gotta give. Picking the right option to give is going to be really tricky and if it's either Payet or Mayne it's pretty much a coin toss, probably edging towards keeping Payet despite fixtures as he's probably a better long term prospect.

The stats are dark and full of errors.
Re: Payet Vs Mane
Mane looks by far the bigger goal threat, but Payet is the assister and really seems to be a bit of a bonus machine. Both are rising too.
Quite a hard choice to be honest.

Re: Payet Vs Mane
If you own either and are not on a wildcard I'd just stick with whichever you have.
If it's a straight choice at current prices and going to cost you a transfer regardless, I think Mane because of fixtures and the 0.2 saving.

Not worried about the fabled Mane benchings then?

Exactly what I've got, but Wanyama for Payet.CupidStunt000 wrote:+1JVRB48 wrote:Both (sorry)

Gone with Mane in the end.

Re: Payet Vs Mane
payet is more consistent, more reliable and has as much of a high ceiling if not higher than mane. I like both but Payet for me. Also payet is a bonus point magnet..

Re: Payet Vs Mane
I went with Mane. I just don't want to get Payet back. He's scored 39 points after I changed him to Pedro but it would feel so wrong to get him back and admit your loss.

Something tells me you could be slightly biased though.payetme wrote:payet is more consistent, more reliable and has as much of a high ceiling if not higher than mane. I like both but Payet for me. Also payet is a bonus point magnet..

Re: Payet Vs Mane
Both excellent options, but when choosing my Shaqiri replacement I opted for Payet. Mainly due to the set piece involvement and the fact he is 100% nailed. Mane is a great option, no doubt about it, but they have a tendency to randomly (and often illogically!) bench him from time to time.

Payet is a season keeper for me, Mane not so much.
