Liverpool can't afford him. Still have to pay for the Rodgers D.I.V.O.R.C.E.

Rodgers didn't know when to walk away, and Balotelli didn't know when to run.

- To both.
Really hoping for Klopp, think it would be fairly good news for the attacking players, and great news for the league.
With the forwards, I'm really not certain about their roles, I think Benteke and Sturridge could work together, but it's whether a manager wants to do that.

I would think Klopp will look for where he can inject pace into the team. Maybe Firminho, Ibe, not a lot else

Benteke should be tried at CB or sweeper.
Could be the new Franz Anton Beckenbauer.

So
Where are we standing with this?
If Klopp is hired, are we putting Pool players straight into the team if we dont have some already? Sturridge, Ings, Coutinho etc?
Or waiting to see if the gel
Who is banking on the new manager effect?

Wait and see for me. There may be potential there but none of the current squad produced consistency under Rodgers. Will it be different with a new man? No idea!

Re: Rodgers Sacking and the Liverpool 'assets'
And that's the crux. We're all guessing and we can all make the assumption that he will try to set Liverpool up the same way he set Dortmund up but Liverpool don't have the same sort of players Dortmund had for the equivalent roles so for all we know Klopp will cut his cloth accordingly until he can bring his own players in.
He'll probably go 4 at the back but doesn't have the wide players at Liverpool that he liked at Dortmund (historically they never really have so will Klopp compromise r completely changr Liverpools philosophy from within? That decision will have a huge impact on benteke Sturridge and Coutinho who should all start but where? After that I would guess that Lallana and firmino may battle for the right wing berth if he plays 4-2-3-1 rather than 2 up top - Klopp will have seen more if what firmino can do than Lallana I suspect so may get the nod. Likewise Can, but I can only see him in the middle if he goes for 3 mids and plays Sturridge and Coutinho wide either side of benteke.
So in summary i have no idea!

Very interesting that. Benteke looks to benefit most if its accurate. Sturridge not so much. Firminho into the mix. Can for the 'Hummels role'?Curmudgeon wrote:This article might be of interest: http://www.empireofthekop.com/2015/10/0 ... s-into-it/

Maybe Firmino will start in the number ten position? What i've heard, Klopp looked at Firmino in bundesliga.
Might be something to keep an eye on?

He's barely in the door and already lost Gomez and Ings for the season. Ings ruptured his knee ligaments in the very first training session.
