The stats are dark and full of errors.

First year giving fantasy epl a proper crack and I'm stuck on transfers for this week. Any suggestions?

Cech, de Gea
Clyne, Smalling, Kolarov, Monreal, Martin
Mahrez, KDB, Payet, Kouyate, Morrison
Aguero, Martial, Wilson

Only 0.1 in the bank. Am thinking one of Clyne/Smalling > Davies and possibly upgrade Wilson?
Have you got one or two free transfers? I'd probably decide if you want to play 4 at the back all season long, if so the probably Wilson :arrow: Ighalo, if not then you've a lot of options open!

The easiest way to free up some funds is your keeper pairing - you don't need Cech when you've got DDG (or vice versa) so one of them to Hennessey will free up some cash without a loss in the potential of your team.

Well Wilson absolutely has to go, and should have went already before the price drops.

With your budget, the only viable upgrade is Vardy, that's if you downgrade one of your big defenders to a bench-warmer and one of your keepers as well.

Too much cash at the back for my liking. think CP, WBA and Watford.

Almost entirely dependent on what happens during the international break, but assuming nothing untoward, will most likely be Gomez :arrow: someone;

Dawson vs Gabriel... any thoughts?

Darmian -> Ashley Williams
Gomis -> Pellè

My first 4pt hit :(

And I still couldn't get rid of Wilson :oops:

Can someone please help with my defence.

Kompany; Ward; Dawson; Francis; Skrtel

It'd mean taking a -4 hit if I replace any of them. Worth it? And if so, for who? Or am I just panicking for the sake of it?

Panicking for the sake of it, definitely. I've seen far, far worse defences than that, and you can comfortably put three out. Kompany and Dawson have excellent fixtures, Francis has been consistent, Ward should be back soon, and who knows what will happen at Liverpool..

I've got 1 FT and no idea what to do with it. Might as well save it... Everything seems quite decent apart from Evans' injury. Okay, I could improve my defence/gks but I can easily field a full XI.

Krul, McCarthy
Kolarov, Evans, Francis, Huth, Targett
Sánchez, KDB, Payet, Mahrez, Sinclair
Agüero, Martial, Berahino

EDIT: Perhaps Huth :arrow: Davies?

Any news on Evans' injury? Considering him in for Muniesa. Have 0.4 ITB so spot on budget.

If I were you, I'd bank it to have more flexibility next week to possibly transfer in some EVE or SOU attackers.

Quite happy with my side at the moment, little worried about the poor quality on the bench however.

De Gea - McCarthy
Kolarov - Bellerin - Darmian - Gomez - Baker
Sanchez - Walcott - Payet - Mahrez - Wanyama
Vardy - Aguero - Pelle

Anything standing out to you guys that would warrant a -4 point hit? I have .3m in the bank currently.

He's out of the next international.

The precise timescale for repair of the (non-existent) "hamstring" is almost impossible to predict, even with advanced medical scanning.

Thanks! In other words, a wait and see then...

Gomez :arrow: Gabriel done.

Would have liked to have waited ideally, but there is a good chance Gomez drops tonight. As today is the first of a week off, I'll be far too drunk to react later, so the trigger has been pulled.

+1

I had to pull the "pre-international break" trigger which I hate doing but couldn't afford a price rise on Mane or Pelle. I feel these two would be too expensive if I didn't act now.
Carzola :arrow: Mane
Gomis :arrow: Pelle
Schmeichel :arrow: Myhill (season long. Better save ratio/points tally)
-8 but had to be done.

Myhill
Richards (needs addressing) Kolarov Cresswell
Silva Payet Mahrez Mane
Pelle Aguero Vardy

0.0 in the bank though. Any thoughts or tips gratefully welcomed :)

Where's all your money gone? I have an abysmal team value and can easily get that team!! Sure there isn't a Sanchez hiding anywhere...he is quite small. I think a -8 was risky in these circumstances but good luck. I went for Pelle too, amongst other transfers.

His money is probably in his bench. He probably have a 6.0 mid as bench and two 5.0 defenders or something like that

Pre-International trigger also pulled here:

Darmain > Souare
Gomis > Pelle

Finally happy with my forward line of Aguero, Pelle and Lukaku.

Seems to be the optimal combo prescribed on FISO atm.

Haha!! I wish there was a small Chilean in there :D - I probably would've had some money in the bank had I not taken OUT the same two (originally had them in GW1) I just put back in this week :(

Squad in full:
Myhill McCarthy
Richards Kolarov Cresswell Gomez Targett
Silva Payet Mahrez Mane Redmond
Pelle Aguero Vardy

Kolarov and Cresswell are the 2 +5.0 Def, Redmond (5.6) is the only Mid on the bench. Carzola :arrow: Mane allowed the Gomis :arrow: Pelle upgrade.

*pulls lint out of his pocket* :?

Already pulled the trigger on this earlier in the week, as I had no leverage on price changes

Darmian :arrow: Davies (TOT)
Pedro :arrow: Sanchez (with fingers crossed over injury)

Did
Pedro -> KDB
Darmian -> Ashley Williams
earlier in the week to avoid Pedro's price drops

Might take a hit to take Evans out if he doesn't recover over the IB

This. Plus he is a bargain 4.9m, and appears to be ahead of Mertersacker in the pecking order even when everyone is fit. His place in the team is by no means a foregone conclusion, but I think the positives certainly outweigh the negatives provided you accept the risk and have a decent enough back up.

I don't regret making the move.

I don't understand why everyone says he's ahead of Mertesacker.

He's only ever played when either Mertesacker or Koscielny were out, and Wenger has never said he would keep that starting spot.

He started the Champions league game against olympiakos over him, but i'm not certain its because he is ahead of mertesacker already or just because mertesacker wasn´t back to 100 % after returning from being sick.
