Sanchez and Naughton to play. Effectively down to 8 men with cameos from Evans, Redmond (what's that guy got to do to get a start!) and a no-show from Mahrez compounding my ownership of Gomez, Wilson and Targett.
Unlucky, I also had all of those last 3 players but sold Wilson and also upgraded Gomez this week. Targett can sit tight until my wildcard. Had you already used your free transfers this week then?

Yes. Changed Coutinho to Sanchez. If I'd known it would escalate into such an extreme injury crisis, I wouldn't have worried too much about Sanchez's price rise and waited. I still couldn't have predicted the Diouf and Evans injuries though. Might have to leave Evans, Gomez and Targett to be honest and hope Evans makes it or Gomez somehow wins back a starting berth, somewhere. I agree, Targett was always going to be left to rot.

95 after a couple of autosubs (I'd started McCarthy just on the offchance he got a recall, and of course there was Mahrez), with Martial, Sanchez and Darmian to come.

7th successive green arrow GW and a jump of 250k places this week to 30k. Happy days :D

I've taken my screenshot and fully expect it's nothing but down from here, but a nice milestone to have gotten that high up in the rankings.
Impressive start, well done!

91 (-4 hit) so far with three to play. (Darmian, Sanchez, Ayew). The big green arrow is very welcome.

Aguero's five star performance is a real game-changer with only around 30% owning him and 20% captaining him (with 6% of the top 10k).

Unfortunately my use of the AOA chip was a complete waste with Mahrez missing out. Although I don't think it was necessarily the wrong decision, just a bit unlucky. Not the end of the world as not many points will be gained by the AOA chip IMO.

Had him as captain, managed to climb up my works league after a poor start to the season.

A mate of mine triple captained him! 92 so far with 7 to play  Surely the very best use of that chip for the whole season.

87 with two autosubs. 3 to play in Sanchez, Dier and Martial.

Beyond the score, this weekend could really prove to be a differential within the whole season, for those who do not own Aguero. Not only will they have missed out on a major haul but surgery will be required to accommodate Aguero into their teams...

73 with Ayew to play

Obviously happy with Aguero (c) but still feeling that him aside, my team scoring is still woeful

Compounded this week by Redmond losing his starting place (not sure why given he looks promising in the highlights and scored off the bench last week), Mahrez going missing, Muniesa and Gomez to sort

Thinking that Mane or Pelle need to get in my team somehow but think defence needs to be sorted first as having 3 playing defenders isn't enough flexibility. Holding any moves until after the international break though..

Looks like i'm finishing on 95pts after bonus. Very happy overall but disappointed I didn't hit that triple figure.

122 all out if Ayew hangs on to his bonus point.

My best GW of the last two seasons probably.

111 assuming Sánchez 3 bonus. Fairly certain that's my highest ever score.

I just make the century assuming Sanchez keeps his 3 BP. Wow, what a gameweek!

Projected to go from 2365115 to 923500

Ended up on 102.

Brilliant Saturday, absolutely shocking Sunday. Only fielded ten players in the end, too.

About 115 after -4, depending on bonus, whether Richards comes off the bench due to AoA no show etc etc.

Not bad.

79-4 with no Aguero. 2 non playing players plus no bench players playing. Captained De Bryne. Had a green arrow pre Sanchez. Guess I didn't have to downgrade in previous weeks to have Aguero so not a big difference. My defenders haven't scored much more than a couple of points in 3 weeks. Probably same in most teams. Will have to have a multiple transfer as have taggert, oxford and wilson who won't be in their teams very much at all this season.

How are you defining best? The gameweek is really defined by how your score compares to everyone else, i.e your gameweek rank rather than your score. I scored 111 but according to the fpl discovery projections, this will only be a GW rank of 30-30k which whilst is very good, I've had many better gameweek ranks than that with a lot lower scores than 111.

104 average, former FISO er Gunnersaurus now right up there, very near to the top 4k with 125 this week - best score i've seen so far from the ones I follow.

I know Si Brown has an even higher rank and top 500.

97 (-4) all out. Getting back towards reasonable territory.

The challenge will be to get the triple (c) right.
