Can just imagine the thought process.

Things are just starting to get better, I know what I'll do. I'll captain an out of form player against Mou at the bridge

Sanchez's stats are right up there and Chelsea have been poor this season. Sanchez had a big chance this game and fluffed it. Had he scored, he'd have been my best captaincy pick this season

Ignore the trolls.
It was a good pick. Chelsea have been dreadful all season.
They did OK today but it was hardly a convincing victory against a 9-man opposition and had the referee been even remotely capable of doing his job the result could have been very different.
Football tries so hard to be grown-up and big-bucks but ultimately it is run and refereed by jokers.
(I guess Im still maybe a teensy little bit bitter)

At least this one was in double figures! Although I probably back my initial pick (Benteke) to do better tomorrow. That's the way the cookie crumbles though.

The stats are dark and full of errors.

5 points isn't too bad. It's pretty rare that you double a double digit score if there's no Suarez, Lampard or Ronaldo around.

I need four consecutive weeks of 12,12,12,12 to make up for it!
