Yup annoying. Oh well, all about the football now. Won't be worrying too much about this drop if he delivers the goods at the weekend.

I'm hoping he ends up injured for Norwich (sorry to those above!) as dropped him last night, having both dropped then brought him back during last week's wildcard - at least I've avoided the price drops. Pedro in for me, so should be worth the -4 in the long run.

Looks a great option now at 7.8mill, Ayew or Payet escape plan.

After all our talk of the great options at 9.0/8.0 mill, the sub 8.0mill midfeilders really seem to be where the value and points are at the moment.

I wouldn't speak too soon - I rekon we'll see a bit of a 8-9m mid revival in the next few weeks. Ramsey in particular has been completely robbed so far in terms of points vs performances, and Coutinho's fixtures are ripe for his greedy shooting boots. Eriksen is a bit of a forgotten man due to his unfortunate injury, and the United crew (containing Mata/Depay) seem to be improving every week, albeit slowly. Sterling and Yaya are going to pick up the points in City's awesome fixture run too, though the issue with them is obviously the possibly greater appeal of Silva/Kun/Kolarov.

Meanwhile, the likes of Ayew/Payet/Mane are all running out of good fixtures and their candles may well fade a bit. Sure, Mahrez has the fixtures to continue to do well, but he's not going to continue to get double figures every week.

I had to drop him for Pedro since I had exactly enough money in the bank before the drop, but I'm not exactly happy about it. Mane will score well this season.

I kept him for now seeing as others in my team have risen in price so I can take a few price drops, although my team value isn't that high when compared to others. Hopefully he plays well this GW because after that SOT fixtures get a bit harder and I can't justify keeping him in over the likes of Mahrez or others.

He is on the bench tonight so I would suggest that bodes pretty well for the weekend.

I am probably going to take him out for Sako. The following fixtures are quite tough as well I believe.

And exactly what 10Hughes ↓ just said.

Surprised they didn't bring him on at all tonight when they needed a goal. He mustn't have been fit enough for them to gamble on to bring on.

For that reason, and Saints poor form, I'm taking him out tonight, regardless of a home game against Norwich.

Would you suggest Mane or Pelle out for FT? and would a 4pt hit be worth it in this case ?

I would say right now that southampton attacking players are least likely sort of player to get you any points.

I'd rather have a Watford attacker at the Etihad than Mane or Pelle at ST Mary's against Norwich.

I know what you mean but it would just be my luck this season to transfer him out and he bang in a hatrick and a couple of assists! Ut would be for a hit, who would be worth a 4 point hit?

And there goes the flag as predicted. Had he made it through last night his NTI would have reset today. That's a kick in the dick.

I'll be very surprised if he drops again before Sunday's game, so he's in the last chance saloon for me

If Mane wasn't going to cost me more points (-4 additional transfer), I think he'd be gone.

Southampton have not looked good this season in the PL, but fingers crossed he can actually get some points before I turf him :)

He'll be a good option at the discount price at some stage in the season.

He's done it again, he's done it again, Sadio Mane, he's done it again...

Bliddy hell. Knew this would happen. Took this lad out and then he scores 2 assists and is having a blinder against Norwich...

No surprise at his points today, he's been threatening a 10+ point performance all season.

He was helped by playing against 10 men today. Definitely on the watchlist when their fixtures clear up.

Yeah fair point.. What annoys me is that everytime I take Mane out (i.e. last season), he somehow does well the very next GW and the following ones too. Some of us here can allude to it, as previously stated in this thread by other forumers. Oh well, that's life...

If it makes you feel better I've owned Tadic for his GW2/3 scores of (1, blank), and not for his GW1/4 scores of (6, 16). It happens.

I can definitely relate to this! He is a very frustrating player to own in that he always looks massively involved and 'nearly' registers a haul without it translating into points that often. So you eventually get frustrated, take him out and then... well, we all know the rest. I guess that's the problem with the more explosive/streaky players; you either have to show patience and stick with them through the lean spells, or avoid all together. Unless of course you can hop and off and get lucky, which I never seem to do..

He was flagged, dropping in price, underperforming and his fixtures were about to become horrible. Getting rid of him wasn't a bad move, no one could predict a red card after 30 minutes for Norwich.

Very true. I find him more frustrating to own then not to own anyway I think, if that makes sense..
