1. Top 10k GW 8 Average Captain Score (Not Doubled): 8.5
2. Almost 2% of them did not field a captain!
The top 10k prior to the next gameweek will look very different. I may have to change the thread title!

Exactly the same in my mini leagues. It's taken 7-8gws but it feels like this is the turning point for many.froog wrote:casual leaders taking a pounding in all my leagues. some of their sides are just terrible.

Well done gallus!gallus wrote:I'm the current top 10k!
Is everyone here open to a 'Fiso top 10k' thread or something similar?
I was thinking it would be cool for fiso members who break into the top 10k to notify us all in the one place, and then keep us updated to their progress.
That way we can cheer on and keep tabs on any serious contenders within our group.
Yay or nay?

I don't have a great history with starting threads, so thought I'd ask if it's a good idea and/or if anyone else would be interested in it.blahblah wrote:Just start it, like the GW's 100 thread......

How do people pull some of these statistics? I saw that FFS wrote about how many people captained someone, can we access captain percentages too?

Wow!! I'd say you know exactly what you're doing.
You could win it from that position.

Re: The current top 10k now DO have an idea what they are doing (in general)
The 3XC and bench boost usages have reduced this week (but are still high), while wildcard numbers are up. The top 10k also includes very sensible captaincy picks (apart from 3% of teams who have captained Aguero).
Benched keepers have suddenly reduced from really expensive ones to McCarthy or 4.5 or below ones that you'd expect from more seasoned managers.
I'd say that (apart from the Aguero captaincy thing) the top 10k now is pretty representative of good sides rather than lucky ones, but the managers that own them are still fairly inexperienced (93.5% have still never had a top 10k finish before) and 1/3rd have played their 3XC which is most likely a mistake (unless it happend to have been on Aguero last week).
If you're in or around the top 100k, then I think you can be confident of rising further but it won't be as easy as it was for the last few weeks.

Re: The current top 10k now DO have an idea what they are doing (in general)
Thought I'd register to say thanks to all of you on here at FISO.
It's my first time playing FF and I'm currently sitting just under 8k.
First two weeks were a bit rough because I had no idea what I was doing and had players like Matic and Wanyama who will start but not get points.
Lurking on here, I saw some good advice which helped me recovered pretty well. Still have all my chips too!
Team for GW 11:
Cech
Sagna
Dann
Alderweireld
Mahrez
Sánchez
De Bruyne
Payet
Ighalo
Pellè
Lukaku
Bench: Gomes, Redmond, Darmian, Steven Taylor
