Re: Gameweek 4 transfers
Corinthians bought him and his on loan playing for Sao Paulo this year. He's one of the main players of the team and he is fit playing 90 minutes of the game but not the same player as he used to be in the past. He is the main scorer and his team is doing fine in the Main Brazilian League. But they are with another coach and their struggling against some week teams. They lost 4 in a row. One of this game being in our Cup against a team that is being relegated in our Second Division what was a real shame. But Pato scores often. What doesn't mean a lot since here on Brazil players like Anderson (who used to play for United) are starters and good players.NoEyeDeer wrote:What ever happen to Pato?Impossible_United wrote:According to some rumours here on Brazil they are offering Alexandre Pato (the one that played for Milan some years ago) for Man U. If they don't and Rooney carries on and he's started he could get a fair amount of game time in that front four.
I hope they don't sign another Falcao.
At one stage he was banging them in for AC Milan and in high demand, and then it feels like he just disappeared off the face of the earth.
Does he even still play? Or has United now gone from focusing their attentions on injured has beens to retired once was'?

Leaning towards Kompany Kolarov to free up some funds. Good or bad idea?

I highly rate kolarov
In the past I stay away due to clichy but this season so far kolarov has been great plus the odd free kick

Re: Gameweek 4 transfers
I'm thinking Pelle Benteke.
Reasoning:
- Both have good fixtures this week but Benteke has 2-3 good GWs in a row which are great, SOT dont.
-Planning on WC next week so no point in keeping the FT.
-I have triple SOT coverage, and I really think I should reduce that to at most 2.
-Benteke is Benteke

If you're wildcarding next week, then surely your first point about future fixtures is irrelevantdeanfar wrote:I'm thinking Pelle Benteke.

The transfer still looks good though even on the strength of this weekend only.

Aguero to Rooney.
Aguero blanked last week and you can't have a 13m acquisition doing that while Rooney is literally red hot right now.

Sanchez > Mahrez
Ighalo > Costa
Expecting Costa to have a big GW... now who to choose as Capt: Aguero or Costa?

- Aguero is playing at home against Watford, and he has 'miss-fired' due to some outstanding goalkeeping
- Rooney is playing away to Swansea and looks terrible in the PL
Have you forgotten that Depay scored 2 with an assist against Brugge, and Depay/United went on to do nothing at home to Newcastle.... why would Rooney be any different?

Wildcarded in pretty much every bandwagon - Aguero, Mahrez, Albrighton, Redmond, Gomez, Wilson, Kolorov, Kompany, Darmian, Romero, McCarthy, Alexis. Kept Gomis, and S. Taylor, made 0.1 on Hazard with an early sell/buyback.

My Wildcard is active, team all sorted apart from 1 issue .......
Do I go Pedro & Silva or Hazard & Yaya or Sterling.
I'm worried about not having Hazard but Silva is looking great at the moment.
......Thoughts.

Re: Gameweek 4 transfers
What a bizarre transfer. How is Rooney red hot? He scored goals against a total joke of a defence in Brugge so you shouldn't read too much into this. It will probably be back to normal service in the premiership and Utd have a tough away game at Swansea (whilst Aguero faces a promoted team at home)Valeron wrote:Aguero to Rooney.

Re: Gameweek 4 transfers
Considered Depay Pedro and Gomis Wilson (-4) but i'm reluctant to a) lose Gomis in current form b) take a -4 for players based on one positive showing and c) head into the international break without 2fts.
On balance i'm leaning towards letting Pedro & Wilson run, then going after them if no other targets emerge. My trio of Man City players and Alexis Sanchez should hopefully offset any Chelsea/Bournemouth damage.
90% set on rolling the transfer over.

The Depay move is pretty much a no-brainer and the hit doesn't worry me too much, it's losing Gomis that's my main concern.

Taking out Mane but need to decide whether to bring in Coutinho (cheaper) or Yaya (slightly better fixtures plus City are scoring more freely than Liverpool)
Can afford either. Opinions?

Yaya, both good though - I think Yaya gives good value for what he costs. Coutinho is a great player but sometimes doesn't convert to FPL points as easily.10Hughes wrote:Taking out Mane but need to decide whether to bring in Coutinho (cheaper) or Yaya (slightly better fixtures plus City are scoring more freely than Liverpool)
