A really tough one, but with Chelsea scoring eight in their last three I would be tempted to go with the cs odds and play Huth, Alderweireld and Moreno benching Bellerin - it's so close though you could really use a pin to pick one with possibly a better result.

No real standout cs teams this week, Man Utd and WBA among the better ones.

Play Ward or Targett, if you think both will concede, is Targett more likely to assist?

Mahrez or Alli :?:
Now that is outside Mahrez sanctions, the choice becomes more complicated. Mahrez at home against Stoke and Butland who defend very well or Alli away from home against a poor Palace?

Dier has to start given Palaces inability to score lately.
Dawson starts, villa at home is a game you start any defender in.

So 3rd starting berth goes to Moreno, Bellerin or Smith. Has to be one of the first 2 but which? I think I trust Arsenal more than Liverpool?

I also have a feeling Arsenal might keep it together against Chelsea, which makes Bellerin a tempting option, albeit a depressing one as a Chelsea fan.

I need to bench ONE of:

Simpson (STK)
Alderweireld (cry)
Wollscheid (lei)
Bellerin (CHE)

I'm also deciding between Bellerin and Moreno. Im just thinking if I bench Moreno vs Norwich then what am I doing with him in my team. Gut feeling says Arsenal will keep Chelsea out

Benching two of
Baines
Bellerin
Dier
(Souare)
(Smith)

Currently got them in that order, with Dier marginally more likely to do something as compared to Souare, I think.
I am wary of tripling up on Spurs against a decent Palace side so benching Alli and playing Payet against City.

Am I benching the right ones?
Thanks

Fair point on Moreno, he is ALWAYS the furthest forward full back in the league when you watch him play, but is his end product actually ever that good? Gut also says Bellerin

Moreno has better clean sheet odds and at least equal attacking threat. If you look purely at that side of things pick Moreno.

Somewhat dangerous to bench an Arsenal defender though as it seems almost everybody owns one.

Last minute call: bench Huth or Dier? Palace hasn't scored in 5 games but that has to end soon. On the other hand Leicester defence hasn't been too good lately and Stoke has delivered decent amount of goals lately. Any thoughts?

I'm surprised so many people are playing Arsenal defenders. I see Costa at least getting one past them. I'm playing Alderweireld, Wols and Simpson before Bellerin.

I would say bench Huth. I'm playing Alderwiereld. Palace have been shocking.

Currently playing Alderweireld, Daniels and Evans with Bellerin on the bench. Good decision?

I'm wrestling with this one too. Currently taking a punt on benching Mahrez but that means playing Alder, Alli & Kane. If Spurs have a 'Spursy' day then i'll be gutted!

Feel like I gradually need to move away from the older template players if I want to break into the top 100K.

The defensive picks are tricky this week, odds of a cleansheet from William Hill are

Everton (SWA) 2.25
WBA (AVL) 2.25
Leicester (STO) 2.3
Liverpool (nor) 2.5
Arsenal (CHE) 2.7
Bournmouth (sun) 3.0
Stoke (lei) 4.0

I have Wollscheid starting over moreno but the odds suggest otherwise. Image

I'm starting a player each from the top 3 in that list, so I certainly hope the bookies are right on this occasion! With them all out at 2's or more though, they look far from a sure thing.

Yep, I think Man Utd were the best at 2.15 so defensive points might be hard to come by this week.

Cannot believe Stoke's odds are so low. That makes so little sense. Still going with Simpson and Wollscheid over Bellerin. Right? Right??

I think Simpson is a yes.

Bellerin or Wollschied is also a decision I'm having to make. The clean sheet odds do favour Bellerin and he has attacking potential, so I'm going with him.

No West Ham at home, even against City (without Kompany).

Play Alli or Alderweirald?

I hate choosing between two from the same side. Palace have struggled to score recently, but on a good attacking day Alli can easily get into double figures... :?:

It's so tough. But I think I'm going to do the same. Plus if Chelsea lose AND Bellerin keeps a clean sheet on my bench I'm going to be furious.

Yup stupid idea. Have had Bellerin benched all week but just feel uneasy about it. Are a lot of others benching Arsenal defenders?
