Pato would be my guess tbh.Mav3rick wrote:If Costa is out do we imagine any chance of Hazard in a false 9 role?

I hope Costa plays, otherwise getting him in for the DGW over Agüero was hardly productive.
Well at least I won't have lost points.

Does the absence of Costa increase the chances of Hazard starting? Not necessarily as a false 9, but just a starting spot?

Notned's link doesn't say Pedro is out, it confirms he has a broken nose. The Toon Man wrote:You'd think so, no Pedro either.Joccki_10 wrote:Does the absence of Costa increase the chances of Hazard starting? Not necessarily as a false 9, but just a starting spot?
"Pedro is not out but has broken his nose"
However it would be nice to see Pedro on the bench and Hazard starting

Ah yeah my bad, heard on SSN this morning he had broken his nose and they reported it whilst listing the players out (Ivanovic, Terry, Costa) so i just presumed. Pedro's turn for the mask then!

Might see Higuain replacing Costa next season so he could have played his last game. Pato's future is still up in the air though. No idea what the line-up will be tonight with Pato, Pedro, Oscar all due a start. It would be easier to call if it wasn't Liverpool.

They'll still try to play their strongest available - always want to do well there even if the defence is decimated and their main goal threat sidelinedmath! wrote:Might see Higuain replacing Costa next season so he could have played his last game. I would guess pretty much the side on ffs team sheets at the moment minus Costa so possibly Traoré.

You are probably right because we don't know what Conte thinks of him. Conte was managing in Italy when Pato was tearing it up for Milan so who knows? But the mood music from Chelsea at the moment suggests they won't be keeping him.math! wrote:Pato's future is still up in the air though.

John Terry testimonial and farewell has been cancelled. Bruce Buck been at the training ground all day. New deal sounds highly probable

It is announced in the press conference that John Terry has been offered a one-year contract extension. John is considering the offer. #CFC

What's the deal with this Payet knock then? Nothing official from the club, but sources seem reliable.

Is it naughty of me not to mention the Payet situation to my friends and ML rivals in the hope that it doesn't reach the mainstream press tomorrow?

Payet not in lineups, neither is Firmino, Coutinho, Mignolet, Clyne or Defoe.
edit: im just happy because im nr2 in my ML, behind 9 points, and the nr1 has firmino, defoe and payet

Wouldn't have thought it likely had one already and only obliged to do one - not as if we can do anything about it anyway.MoSe wrote:will there be a new presser for tomorrow match?
If reserves are fielded for a lot of people with three obvious to be selected Utd players its equivalent to having all three injured in the warm-up - an event completely beyond control.
The distortion to this season's standings is affecting teams right at the top of the OR too. It really makes the final week a complete wreck and although it's only one week out of 38 it's a week where there is no counter balance as there would be in other weeks, then at least you have the players and the budget spent on them may prove well spent in future weeks.
