+1, I just did it. I have enough of Silva and his glass legs.

PELLEGRINI: “At this moment, Mangala, Clichy, Delph, Silva, Bony and Kelechi are the six players injured. Kompany, Hart & Nasri are back."

Silva -> KDB for an hit then?

KdB seems like the obvious choice. But I'm mulling over Hazard as well.

Has he forgotten about Zabaleta? In limbo?

ETA: I see he specified separately that he is "hopefully back", which is pretty content free . . .

No contradiction I don't think. The ''good'' news on Silva seems to be that he might be back in time for the CL game in midweek.

Bit annoying with the Silva issue but at least I have another free. Two injuries in two weeks is frustrating though as its stopping me from clearing up my cheap defenders and maybe will stop a Wilson move in GW9.

Can't really justify a 10.0 player benched again though so will likely move to KDB or possibly copy Stem and move for Silva on for Payet.

Very annoying I would say, I was hoping to strengthen my defence too but after giving it some thought I think I'll have to ship Silva and maybe take a hit in case Diouf is ruled out too

Two injuries in one week for me and pretty much an identical situation - I'm likely going to have to go with only three defenders for the next GW or two (luckily their fixtures are pretty good) and as it's turned out with those injuries will have essentially meant I've taken a hit to remove Wilson two weeks earlier than optimal.

Since this is Mourinho who is talking, does that actually mean Pedro will play up front?

Maybe he'll go with Fabregas as a false 9?

It's a shame Eva has left the club. She looked pretty good up front.

Hughes says Marc Wilson is a doubt, which will please those who haven't already dumped Muniesa.

[And Mourinho says he would prefer to be watching England v Wales in the RWC than Chelsea. Hazard  Farrell ]

Not an FF nugget, but a great fun press conference from Jose today, where he explains that there is a list of managers in order of who can basically be naughty, and one in particular who can talk about refs, complain, "push people in the technical area", "can cry in the morning, can cry in the afternoon", "can be not achieve and keep the job, still the king" etc (Wenger obviously). He says that he himself is towards the bottom of that list. Hilarious stuff (and I guess after this week's farce he can feel he has a good point, rather than his normal sour grapes).

According to Stoke's twitter, there was no mention of Diouf in today's press conference... what's up with that?
Edit: apparently he's fit

Wow, that's a massive unexpected boost for his owners!
Not just that, but I always rated Myhill and he seems to be very solid so far. Pulis is not one to change what's working, specially in the defensive system, so I wouldn't be amazed if he retained his spot for the season.

According to ffs poster lfc123 who has a 100% record so far this season (davysteen another but probably gets it from the same source) - this is Liverpool's line-up for Villa

Liverpool team for tomorrow..

Mignolet

Clyne Can Skrtel Sakho Moreno

Milner Lucas

Coutinho Sturridge Ings

No Gomez and pretty much as most would predict anyway.

It's the team I would have picked if I was Rodgers.

Was about to post that myself. The question now is, to play Gomez on the off chance he is wrong for the first time and he features (or at least doesn't come on if he doesn't), with Francis first sub? Or just play Francis in the first place?

No idea on the quality of insider info but that is probably the easiest Liverpool line up to guess this season and what I would have gone for if Fantasy Rafa were still around.....

It is extremely easy to predict this week but some of the others weren't quite so easy. Whether legitimate or not he's at least been a very good guesser so far this season.
