I think it is a good group for us. Of course we are underdogs and probably end up to the bottom of our group, on the other hand there are four very even teams that will take points from each other, so maybe we have a chance if that happens.

At least we were saved from the horror draws France and Italy from pot 2

Quite interesting group for Finland. Turkey and Ukraine are the worst picks but after that Iceland and Croatia aren't that bad compared to Italy and Belgium for example. Like Finisher said, very equal teams and probably all of them could take points from each other.

I need to start planning away trips :)

I'm as irrationally optimistic of Scotland's chances as I am after every draw.

I know the feeling

By the way, how does it work there in UK? Do you also support England and enjoy their success, or is it totally irrelevant national team for you?

I'd bet any Scot would rejoice in England defeats...

Yup, Scotland and Finland have had similar levels of 'success' in recent years :)

I was brought up to want England to lose to anyone, and would say this is how the majority of Scots view England. I've gradually warmed to England in the last decade - I live in London now, my girlfriend and most of my friends are English. Sometime around the 2010 World Cup I realised how ridiculous it is to root against England, and these days I do want to see them do well. In fact, during the recent women's World Cup, I was more disappointed than most of my English friends after their elimination.

Rooney puts United 1-0 up with a header. Young assist.

I'm not sure what's funnier, English football success or Scots passionately cheering on England. ;)

This is what happens when you browse the site in Spain and tell Google to autotranslate ..... Chelsea have signed a secret striker....

Juan Mata is making a late bid to be a henchman in the new Bond film:

Emre Can is unfortunately listed as "dog", Oluwaseyi Ojo is "Eye sheyi".

Manchester United might be challenging for the tile after that performance

I agree. Centre backs might be only problem. Depay looked really good and definitely ready for the EPL. Schneiderlin good signing, Schweinsteiger won't be flop if he doesn't get injured and full backs looked okay. I just don't understand why they play Depay in the centre. He's really fast and skillful, of course he would be better winger than Young. I see best midfielders would be Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin and Herrera.¨

In my opinion this looks very great team. LvG seems to be 4-2-3-1 but in my opinion 4-3-3 would be better for that line up. Schneiderlin little bit deeper and Herrera and Schweinsteiger giving great passes and other attacking threat.
Depay-Rooney-Mata
Herrera-Scheinderlin-Bastian
Shaw-Rojo-Smalling-Darmian

Everton 1-0 down against Hearts

From Liverpool Echo - "That’s twice now Martinez has been gesturing to Kevin Mirallas. Must feel the Belgian needs to impose himself on this game more"

Martinez looking for more reasons to not play Mirallas regularly this season?

Lukaku makes it 1-1 from the penalty spot.

Comfortably outscoring Benteke in pre-season and £0.5m cheaper.

Lukaku with another, assisted by Coleman. And he could've had an assist if Mirallas' chip had hit the target.

Chelsea bossing Barcelona in the first half. Hazard looking a must have and Costa continuing to cast doubts in my thoughts of him as a must have.

Southampton sign Steven Caulker on season long loan, after Cardiff in 2014, and QPR last season, is he going for a hat trick of relegations?
Bournemouth I would understand, but the Saints?
