He would start ahead of Cisse, Austin not sure.

Snakzz, I'f im honest I've only seen him play twice (Arsenal & Dortmund) and he looked a real handful. Otherwise I'm not that aware of his playing style/FPL potential. Can you shed any light?
He is more an Lewandowski then an Aguero.

He is good on the head and is strong in the body.

Very interesting signing and there could be some FPL potential there. However, Newcastle's early fixtures are just horrible so it's a no go for me.

Fpl sure are quick with pricing this year.

Bamford joins Palace at 6.0m on loan from Chelsea after an excellent year in the Championship last time out. A bit of a disappointment fantasy-wise perhaps as they were linked in the media with Remy instead. :|

Interesting to see Mitrovic in EPL. I think he's pure target. Most of his goals are done with few touches or headers.

Benteke vs an 8.5 mid... Medium term there must be a few question marks over him starting every game, but he could be pretty much gold and is a good captain option in GW2 if Liverpool are clicking. Tricky, hoping we get to see a strong Liverpool team in later pre-season with Benteke involved.

Can't see him being dropped/rotated. Particularly when you look at how crap Liverpool's other strikers are and Sturridge always injured. I had him in my draft team anyway when I thought he would be playing for Villa and he will be staying in.

If you have got Benteke then keep him in so you can have four Liverpool players in your team

Who would want 4 Liverpool players?

I agree.

If Henderson remains on pens over Benteke, then I think he loses his appeal a little at his current 8.5mil price.

I think Hendo will remain on pens if you remember all the fuss when Mario (penalty specialist - he is actually really good at them) took one and scored when Gerrard wasn't playing? Would suggest hat he's number one pen taker since Benteke isn't any better at them than Balotelli.

Balotelli's penalty record was 100% for a long time, he might have missed 1 or 2 since then but he's definitely one of the best penalty takers there is.

Yup exactly, and there was a big fuss and hate campaign around the fact Hendo didn't take it, so he's number one as a result I believe.

Probably: 1. Hendo, 2. Mario, 3. Bentekers

The fuss was because Henderson was on the board as the penalty taker and Mario did not start. Had Mario started, it was likely he would have been the penalty taker on the board anyway.

I think Balotelli if in the team regularly he will be ahead of Henderson for penalties.

Personally I don't see the fuss, a starting Benteke for Liverpool is probably worth 8.5m penalties or not.

Beneteke being priced the same as a premium mid makes things interesting doesn't it. If you're just treating it as 8.5 spent on one of your front seven. Benteke vs your 2nd or 3rd choice from the 8.5 midfielder bracket? For me that's probably a Ramsey or Toure.

Who will be brave enough to captain him in GW2 also?

One thing to take into consideration is that you can captain captain Benteke in case he seems to perform with Liverpool, I'm not sure you can say that about your 2nd or 3rd choice from the 8.5m midfield bracket?

I'm yet to see if Benteke will score as much for Liverpool as he did for Villa. Remember Andy Carrol?

Steven Gerrard wrote:Jordan is the captain, Mario would have seen it on the board that Jordan was on the penalty and he showed Jordan a little bit of disrespect there. But we've got away with it.

I love how suarez is 2nd on that list despite serving an eight match ban and missing an entire season

Afellay signs for Stoke. Could be an option if he's 5.5 or less.

Interesting Suarez is 2nd on that list while leaving the Premier League last year. He is still 2nd in scoring since 2012

5.5 he is. Probably worth keeping an eye on for the first couple of weeks and transferring in after that especially as he hasn't played a huge amount of football in the last 5 years.

Romero in at 5.0. A potential RMT wrecker if De Gea is sold in the next 10 days.

If they were to sell De Gea now, don't you think they would've bought a good keeper? :D
