If anything I think Sunderland now having nothing to play for could make Hazard more attractive now.

Interesting. It’s likely to be a more open game now, I guess. No sense in Sunderland parking the bus again.

I stand corrected - knew that Terry had said he wanted to play in every game, hadn't picked up that Hazard was in the same boat. After the introduction of a few youngsters since winning the title, and with the match meaning nothing to either side, and with a strong Chelsea team doing so badly at West Brom, seemed to me there was at least a possibility of Jose shaking things up a bit, by resting a few more (including Hazard) for this last game.

I'm going for Hazard on the basis that Chelsea will want to finish on high at home. With Sunderland now safe the game should be open and quite attacking from both sides. I dont suppose Sunderland will care much if they lose. I think Chelsea will win 3-0 and Hazard will be involved. I have Aguero as VC and he is also a good choice but for some reason I feel its Hazards turn this week.

Those intending on captaining Hazard may need to re-think:

Even before the Hazard rumours, I was thinking about Terry. I need to take a big gamble on the last day, and Aguero won't cut it.

Mata(c) Aguero(v)

Why no options for Man U players with Hull needing to press for a win? MU have a good record against Hull scoring three or more in their last 5 league meetings

Pantilimon ruled out. Possibly bodes well for Chelsea attacking options?

I'll be taking a pointless gamble that won't pay off. It will be on a low ownership player, maybe Costa or Mata.

The correct decision for me is Aguero but I'm deliberately not picking him in a last ditch attempt at a big green green arrow in the last week.

I think Costa is a great captain, but Agüero/Hazard are too, and I'm 0.1m short of a Giroud  Costa.

I'm captaining aguero, so all those people expecting big points from him apologise now cos every time I pick him he does nowt, this might sound silly but this helps me in another game, leading against someone from work by 37 points & he's got aguero so don't want him to score big.

Those who have voted for Bentekke, how confident are you that he will start? I'm thinking of bringing him in for Giroud and captaining him.

Sherwood on his team selection vs Burnley "There'll be no resting of players. We're looking to go out with a win."

(ffs home page)

- I haven't voted for him

Aguero(c), Sanchez(vc)

With a slim lead in the ML I went with Sanchez over Benteke for vc as I think my rival will captain Sanchez so in the event Aguero doesn't play I'd rather play it safe

Aguero, I don't believe in differentials.

Costa for me. If Aguero rips it up I should maintain my ML places, but I want a rise of about 1700 places to finish top 1% and Costa seems like the best low ownership differential to help me do that

I'm not chasing, so will probably just play it safe with Aguero. Although I am also tempted by Costa, or even Giroud if I was 100% certain he starts. Would be a massive differential as captain.

biggest decision of the season....
my main mini league i have closed to 11 points behind after being 90+ up until last 3 weeks
H2H Championship i am 3rd and need a win for promotion
and in another mini league i have reached the final after finishing 6th in the main season
and my other mini leagues i am 3pts ahead

looks like it will be a tense day today for me and i am torn between Aguero who only 1 rival has or Sanchez who all my rivals have

Ideally I need to make up 14 points on the field, so I'm going with Benteke (C) and playing Bertrand against City. I don't really have a choice though and Aguero is the best captain this week IMO so I'm just going to hope that City struggle to break Southampton down.

It's the first time this season that I've deliberately made the "wrong" choice so I'm just hoping to luck out on this one.

I was just considering whether I would change my captain back to Hazard, the I realised it was past the deadline.

I think with Hazard's potential difficulties but if not playing getting a VC anyway, and Schneiderlin and Forster out, it was a close call, but I guess I can cheer both of them on with so many taking Hazard out. :D
