Which 3 Arsenal players for double?
A few weeks early but after this week, I would imagine most of our transfer plans will be focused on GW37 and the Arsenal double week. Which 3 is everyone looking at having?

Re: Which 3 Arsenal players for double?
Already have Sanchez, Giroud is joining him this week, then it's one more midfielder.
Ozil most likely but possibly Ramsey or even Walcott if Wenger starts playing him.

Is the defender part of a bigger plan? Surely the big points will come from the attackers and you want to cover as many bases as possible?Billy Bongo wrote:Koschelney Ozil Alexis

Re: Which 3 Arsenal players for double?
Porbably Sánchez, Giroud and Ospina.
Don't think clearing out my midfield to fit in the third best Arsenal attacker is necessarily the best option, would have been tempted by Debuchy but I'm not sure how nailed he will be after returning from injury, and already having Bertrand (VIL), Ivanović (wha) and Van Aanholt (LEI,ars) that week, I think it would mean benching a good option.

I've already got Sanchez and Giroud, am looking at either Ozil or Cazorla. Probably the latter due to him being on penalties.

If money is no object, I'd take Ozil over Cazorla.

Bringing Sanchez back is a bridge too far for me so it'll be Giroud, Ozil & possibly Ramsey. Will need to make a decision on keeping/shipping Bellerin soon.

Giroud and Sanchez are no brainers. The third spot will be between Ramsey and Ozil and will come down to who's on form at the time.

Will be wildarding in GW36 to bring in the Arsenal Trio.
Giroud, Sanchez are no brainers like others have said.
My third choice prefererence is Ramsey.

I already have Sanchez and Bellerin, but I would like to go into the DGW with Sanchez+Giroud+Ramsey, so I may change Bellerin to a Sunderland defender.

Re: Which 3 Arsenal players for double?
Either Koscielny, Ramsey/Ozil and Giroud, or Ramsey, Ozil and Giroud.
Sanchez is out of reach without significant downgrades (and hits) elsewhere, so I'll have to just risk going without him..

Already have Bellerin, so likely Sanchez and Ramsey.
Was going to have Giroud but may opt with Benteke instead as he has some nice fixtures and is in form.

Already own Bellerin and Sanchez. Will most likely transfer Giroud in for Remy this weekend.

Feels like these three have the highest points potential. I think this is the way forward, if you can squeeze them all in.

glad for you who can afford both....thekrumcake wrote:+1Sammy the Crab wrote:Giroud and Sanchez are no brainers. The third spot will be between Ramsey and Ozil and will come down to who's on form at the time.
personally:
- have Cazorla
- voted Giroud only (for now)
GW35 (now) doing Murray Giroud, I'll be left with 0.6m itb
options, for the other 2 to go with Giroud:
- Ospi/Bell + Caz
- Ospi/Bell + Ram/Öz
- Caz + Ram
- Öz(-Fab) + Caz/Ram
- to either Ospina (gain 0.4m) or Bellerin (gain 0.5m)
in that case, I can't get 2 Arse mids:- will have to choose whether to keep Santi [1]
- or to upgrade him to Ramsey (cost 0.4m) or Özil (cost 0.7m) [2]
- if instead I keep Santi AND want a 2nd Arse mid, I can't go for Ospi/Bell
- I'd need to do Moreno -4.0m Def (McShane/Duff/Waski) to fund exactly Hendo Ramsey [3]
- or to downgrade Fab, who'd allow me to afford Özil (but I'm not convinced it would be worth it given Fab fixtures)
- at that point I'd have the funds and 1 FT left to eventually upgrade Caz to Ramsey too, should I see him preferable [4]
(and keep Migno+Moreno on bench for GW36)
- at that point I'd have the funds and 1 FT left to eventually upgrade Caz to Ramsey too, should I see him preferable [4]

Re: Which 3 Arsenal players for double?
I'm actually a little tempted to go with (obviously Giroud), Ozil and Ramsey instead of Sanchez.
For my squad structure it means I can keep Sterling (CRY) as a fourth mid and Costa (wba) as a third striker. The combo of Ozil/Sterling/Costa looks to have a pretty competitive points potential for me compared with Sanchez/6m/Costa or Sanchez/Sterling/Benteke(or Kane). Sterling is especially tempting if Sturridge is indeed out for the season as it looks.
I'd normally think it's madness to go without Sanchez (especially given how well he's owned), but for a short period in which I'll likely be captaining Giroud anyway, it might actually be a possibility. I'll probably still go for Sanchez, but I don't think he's going to be a no-brainer for everyone's squads - especially with so few set pieces in his locker.
I'm still nonethewiser as to who the best pick of Ramsey and Ozil will likely be anyway, I'm sure I'll look at some background stats soon enough but they seem pretty marginally separated for now. My instinct is Ramsey in his new advanced position, but Ozil is much more involved than he was at the start of the season.
