Any chance Solanke or Brown would be used up front?

Oh dear I hope we don't do that.
Why is that? He has played there for Fiorentina at times as well (actually started in that position as well when starting his professional career). I wouldn't be surprised to see him start in this position against Arsenal if Costa, Drogba, and Remy are still injured and utilise Cuadrado's speed to catch Arsenal on the break.
Because he's been absolutely dire since the day he's joined us. Do you even watch Chelsea?

If you watch Chelsea could you please tell us your own view. Which players are more likely to play as a forward, and some reasoning for your view.

That would be very valuable for my wildcard team.

Willian looking like a good OOP option as the focal point of that front 5.

Had a scan around the Chelsea forums and they seem confident that Remy will play. At least the consensus is that they want him to, so here's hoping...

I would expect no change in formation, tactics or players from the game against United. With the exception of an injury to Drogba which would force a change of course. Could easily slot Oscar, Hazard, Willian or Cuadrado into that role though as they will only be playing for the counter. Personally I think Remy will be back but that is pure speculation and gut feeling.

Ben Dinnery tweeted

Drogba is expected to be available for #CFC this weekend following his withdrawal from a charity game on Monday. Loic Remy is also close

then asked the follow-up

@BenDinnery "Remy is close" sounds the same as 2 weeks ago. What's your take on it? Will he play any of the 2 games in #DGW34? Cheers.

@FPLMad Match-day squad for this weekend .... Drogba to start

Hmm.. he could be right but he's only guessing and for me as a Remy owner i wouldn't mind too much a sub appearance v Arsenal if he starts at Leicester although ideally would like him to start both.

He also expects Costa to train with the squad this week but thinks more likely to start the following week.

I'll be glad to get rid of Remy. Been a costa-ly error.

As much as I'm desperate to pick both Sturridge and Remy in my WC team, I just can't see Chelsea running riot in either game. Mourinho will grind a result out against them both.

I am leaving him in. Even if he doesn't play, I will have more doublers than 2nd place in my ML. I will use my 2 FT to bring in Hendo and either Moreno or skertl

Obviously him starting both would be the preference, but a sub appearance versus Arsenal and a start against Leicester would do me fine. It is that second game where the goals most likely are.

And what about the fact you will have to use a transfer (probably a 4pt hit) to get him out 2 weeks later when Drogba or Costa is fit?

No issue whatsoever, as he will be making way for Giroud as soon as GW34 is over. That has been the plan ever since I bought him in. And there will be no hit involved, either.

Valid plan. I have Giroud already and don't think I can afford to bring him back in at this point

In all honesty, I wish I had just held Giroud through his blank last week. Bringing in Remy was a calculated risk which didn't at all work. Hindsight is a wonderful thing though, hey?!

A lot of my positivity on this thread is more to do with blind faith in the hope he at least partially vindicates that decision, truth be told! 8-)

One idea I'm toying with is to keep Remy and have Cambiasso as first sub. I don't particularly rate Cambiasso and wouldn't start him over Sanchez but he's a decent auto-sub if Remy plays 0 minutes.

My worry isn't that he plays 0 minutes, it's that he plays 15....

Remy not certain to feature tomorrow and Costa will be back for the Leicester game. Worst possible news for Remy owners. Worth removing for a hit?

I think I will keep Rémy, as it's not worth removing him for a hit as I currently have one of Kane or Sigurðsson on the bench and he could play against Arsenal. It's also worth considering that Costa playing against Leicester, might mean 60 minutes, or just a sub appearance.

I will likely just Bench Rémy.

Such a calamitous transfer. Cost me quite a few points, especially since my opportunity cost was Murray.

Hmm, well that's interesting then. I'm actually not sure what to do at the moment but might just jump straight to Giroud (thus freeing up a transfer next week) rather than mess about with Leicester strikers.
