Mourhino to make changes, as a Hazard owner, I hope he gets rested.

That is so true. Usually I just read FFS twitter, FFS website and this forum. I guess there is no use to put any more effort to go and find those "nuggets".

Hmm, I may take out Fabregas for a hit then.

Massadio Haidara is OUT of the Man United game. Has fluid on his knee, and has had an injection.

Chelsea website wrote:'I can't tell you [if Zouma will play in midfield again] but I won't play the same team,' Mourinho said. 'I won't play the same 11 players, that's for sure.'
It could just mean Oscar or Cuadrado could come in for Cahill, with Fàbregas and Zouma moving back, or Luis and Courtois play instead of Azpilcueta and Čech. Hardly earth shattering, I don't think anyone expected the same 11.

Wouldn't you assume Costa and Hazard are pretty safe bets to start?

It could do or it could mean they rest a few key players after they won the Cup on that wet and soggy pitch.

They are 5 points clear with a game in hand, I think he has the luxury to freshen things up if he choses to.

I read it the same as CK does. Could be wrong of course, but I'm not too worried about Hazard (I am about Azpi), and I wouldn't be looking to take Fabregas out for a hit.

I hope he does rest Hazard, it would help to make the GW interesting as it would upset the template.

Ramirez could play for Zouma who could in turn replace Cahill, Azpi could go for Luis and Willian may be benched with Caudrada hoping for a start. Courtois may replace Cech but it's all the usual candidates. Hazard, JT, Ivan and Costa should all play.

I would love to see this team, I would like Jose for about a day...

Azpi Zouma Cahill Luis

I'd love that too, I can probably cover Hazard better than most if I don't have too many unexpected absentees, and I'd like to see Terry and Ivan missing, as I'm looking to buy Ivan as cheap as I can. I'd like it even more if he rested Costa.

What I'd like, and what I think will happen are two very different things however.

Can't see him resting Costa, he just had 3 games off.

Would love for Ivanovic, Terry and Hazard to get the night off though as that would inject life into the most template GW of the year.

Jose isn't Pelle giving Kompany or 'captain hash' a new partner every match and resting Joe Hart for a crucial league game so he can play in the FA Cup. I think Pellegrini gets a high out of rotation.

Who said he was?

We are discussing his comments this afternoon, no one (other than you) are trying to act ITK with regards to his team selection.

Not ITK at all, it's likely he'll keep Hazard, Terry, Ivan and Costa because he very rarely rotates those players, i don't pretend to know anything special as its not too difficult to guess he won't rotate them again.

This is true but now is a perfect chance to do it being 5 points clear and with a game in hand after a Cup win so the players can recharge before the CL and title run in...If he choses to which he has just suggested he may.

Jose is just trying to keep the title somewhat in doubt right now so the league can keep making money on sponsorships. He has to do some sort of handicapping to make sure the league isn't locked by the end of the month

Yeah MPTree you idiot. I hope you feel very useless for starting up this excellent thread.
We used to have a brilliant injuries thread but it was only as good as the updates and people stopped bothering (or just posted on FPL threads etc) and so it died a death.

This thread would be good if someone could guarantee every good nugget gets copied across. They can't - unless someone gets anal enough. At least the BBC cover every press conference even if their selected highlights might not be just what us FF managers want.
Another goodish thread of factual content wrecked by people posting unsubstantiated crap and their valueless opinions....

With Oviedo still out, that Garbutt lad could be a real bargain at 3.9m if Baines were to miss any significant amount of games. Especially if he were to remain on corners like last night.

I agree. Completely.
As a bit of an old fogey at FISO (and one who has always been 5 hours before or after the UK) I can say that they used to be of a lot of value.

Just seems that this forum has these days become a bastion of 'look at me I am smarter than you' than a real sense of trying to help and trying to get help.
It's still a very very good forum, mind you. The best, even. 'Look at me I am smarter than you' is not possible without coming up with some quality - but the forum overall is not what it used to be.

The sense of community et al can only be found in the Minileagues sub-forum.

No, I don't.
