Almost certainly means put your mortgage on a Bellerin start then.

Technically, it should be a "nugget".

I not sure the "information" than a journalist is making a random guess deserves any name, other than rude ones

The Guardian is more often right about the would-he-wouldn't-he decisions than it's not. Not saying they are perfect, but they get about 75-80% of the unsure / flight-risk decisions right.

The (unfair IMHO) criticism they get is when they cannot get the (today's) Cazorla decisions right. But I believe those decisions are generally last-moment calls by the manager, which nobody will ever know.

Often tells you more about the fiso poster than it does about the Guardian (or anything else).

Not much in the way of nuggets so far today.

Rosenior and Chester back in training for Hull, which could affect anyone still carrying Bruce.
Berahino remains a doubt for West Brom.

Chelsea squad fully fit and available, apart from Mikel.

There was a hint today that Haidara might be out for more than just the short term.

"There’s no sign of anyone coming back in the near future other than Mehdi, who is a week or so away.” “We’re working on Rolando, everyone else is more or less long-term."

Fairly big nugget:

Yaya Toure out with an achilles problem. Kolarov & Milner doubtful.

Bummer. I hate how clubs are sometimes so inacurrate for injury return dates.

The Wolfchild is back in training. No indication as to whether he'll start though.

Was never in line to start for me this weekend, but good news in terms of my benching order. Well, in a way... means I now have a decision to be made!

Did people already pick up on this irritating bit of vagueness from Wenger?

I read that this morning. It's a bit worrying for Sanchez owners and I think if he doesn't produce anything this weekend I might consider getting rid. His next fixtures aren't great (LIV, bur, blank, CHE) and there are some interesting moves to make with all that cash

Slightly worrying, but I'd hope he wouldn't rest him when there's no Arsenal fixture next weekend.

Regardless though, he's definitely someone I'll be considering getting rid of next week.

I'm abandoning my cheap defender rotation now, but the luck I've had picking cheap defenders since the Jan wildcard (GW23) is quite amusing:

Baird - Dropped
Wisdom - Dropped
PvA - Rotated
Hutton - Banned (then dropped perhaps?)
Haidara - Injured

I'm thinking of shifting him after this weekend to free up cash for Costa or Ivanovic.

If he does decide to rest him today is the ideal opportunity as the schedule slackens off after that. Can't see him resting him for Liverpool on 4/4; suppose he could give him a few days break after that so that he misses Burnley and comes back for the Cup Semi-final and the final run-in.

Who is Saints' reserve keeper? Forster's probable serious injury must make him a target.

Kelvin Davis. Could be a great budget saver if he is to fill in for the remainder of the season. Whoever would have predicted a plausible Myhill/Davis rotation?!

He's so cool he dropped out of university.

That's why they call him zero degrees Kelvin.

LVG confirms Carrick, Blind, Rojo & Jones all ruled out tomorrow. He said he may consider putting Rooney in midfield.

Not great for Rooney owners, or United players in general. Carrick seems to make them tick. Without him (and the others) I think they'll struggle at Stamford Bridge.

"Boyata is fit – he started working yesterday,"

"Jovetic, Bony, Clichy, Milner and Kompany are not fit for Sunday."

-Pellegrini

Interesting if he'll go with Aguero as a lone striker up front and bring on an impact sub in Dzeko as the game goes on or start both, I'm leaning to the former which would probably be good news.

Could LVG be bluffing about all those injuries? Silly question perhaps but don't the names only need to be in an hour or so before the game?

Doubt LVG would be bluffing, he'd lose some credibility. Hardly a bluff, rather a straight lie to all of the press, fans and opposition.

Definitely good news if Aguero is upfront on his own, honestly feel i should've got rid when he was consistently put upfront with a partner. Just doesn't work for getting the best out of him.
