Well, i thought it was entertaining, but you have gotta lose that porno music in the background. It done my head in.
Big plus , was the Reuters style news feed, really good. The "Herbie rule" could be my marker for the season, i'm already down .
All the best from one Dude to another.

Yeah it's hard to find good "out of copyright" bedding music. Will look a bit harder to find better.

Thanks for the feedback. I will raise an oak soda to you

It's alright, keep em coming :)
Maybe improve the sound a little, don't know if it's the mic or the room

entertaining, lots of opinions, but no substance.

Will give you another shot next GW, if you don't produce I'll probably ship you out for that video of the dog jumping on the trampoline.

Enjoyable for sure. I think to be taken credibly you will need to start discussing statistics etc. All in all though it is entertaining and until you start making statements I disagree with who needs the statistics to back it up :) With the exception of Mata of course. But then again a "You were right, I was wrong" could go a long way in the next episode :D

Well I started it expecting to give it a minute or so but stuck to the end which you should take as a big compliment (I don't even play FPL).

Agree about the dodgy music and will add that the set decoration was very dodgy  Other than that it was very well produced and sounded good on my phone (contrary to an earlier post :? ). Good, positive enunciation with your voice only weakening, understandably, when talking about Man U. Also have to say that for a Man U fan your accent doesn't sound at all like you come from Surrey.....

The content was good but a bit Sybil Fawlty (Mastermind specialist subject: stating the bleedin' obvious) and you might need to develop a few running gags or gimmicks, like the Herbie Rule - and chuck in more stats. Also, anybody following your advice would do 17 transfers per week (and you advise against wildcarding!) so maybe you need to tone that down.

Well played and good luck.

Nice bit of light humour, watched it all and will watch next weeks. Nothing groundbreaking or anything that made me think about changes to my team but nice summary to kick the weekend off!

Thank you for the feedback, really appreciate it.

I think I was a bit weary of going too stats heavy to start off because was worried about alienating new starters but I'm more than happier to get deeper into it which I'm hoping will come as the formula is fine tuned. Same goes for the running gags I guess, just gotta get them established

The music is a little generic so I'll get on the hunt for more pleasing backing tracks.

As it pertains to sound I'm using a DSLR Camera so it does a good standard full hd but mic is kind of a secondary thought for Canon.

I'll have to find some more trinkets to jazz up the "set" too

Thanks again guys and good luck with your game weeks.

I just found it annoying. Why not simply speak normally instead of sounding like practicing some media training bollox. Luckily the content was aimed at total novices so most people won't bother to listen a second time. The several posters on fiso who would be capable of doing this sort of thing well would probably do it less in yer face.

Speaking normally would have me falling asleep! Needs some 'ooomph' to make it watchable and 'showbiz' especially as, when it all boils down, it is just a bloke talking to a camera.

There's truth in what you say murf. But I prefer to listen to solid content rather than jazzed up nothingness.

The FFS podcast has more content than this, and while still giving limited insights, is more entertaining without departing from normal speaking.

JHL

Yeah that was Ludacris, I did a trailer for the series that featured it so figured I'd keep with it. Plus it's a good track regardless.

Thanks for the offer, I'm using iMovie at the mo which is very user friendly but looking to switch to Adobe soon.

So as I'm top of the Dipsy Dudes league now how's that "You were right, I was wrong" shout out sound?

I think words to that affect my come on on the Game Week 3 video...

Yeah you're dominating at the mo but plenty of football to be played in this league lol.

Very hard to find royalty free music that doesn't sound cheesy.

Good roundup, though I think it's hard to be groundbreaking given how much most here know, nice to see some stats thrown in.

Camouflage Bently -2pts. You realise Eric Cantona's record for Man U is worse than 1 in 2, he looks better because he played in an era when the premier league was lower quality and had less top foreign players, and for the dominant team at the time.

What's with these homies, dissin my girl? Why do they gotta front? What did we ever do to these guys that made them so violent.

Hi fella, firstly the background music is a big improvement, not brilliant, but i didn't feel like i was sitting in a seedy Soho porno theatre watching "Debbie Does Dallas", not that i have ever set foot in a seedy porno theatre , you understand.....
The Balotelli bit was very good i thought, and yeah he is hardly Eric.
The PC analogy made me smile, and i thought you chucked in a load more stats, which geeks like me enjoy.
I gave "Herbie" a good hiding last week, and i'm just heading your goodself by two points in your league.
Overall, i liked it, although being a Cockney you need to practice on that English accent a bit more with your impressions..
