Re: The Fantasy Football Fix: Game Week 6
This is becoming a regular pleasure, Richard. And it gets better and better each week.
Its a little bit distracting when you look down at your notes, and sometimes the players mentioned are, well, just the same ones we are discussing here on FISO. BUt seriously, its nice to have someone knowledgeable to talk to me.
As the return of Mr Walcott is eagerly awaited by many, maybe he'll get a mention next week? Personally I'm thinking he might be a bit of a disappointment...to quote Arseblog:
"Return to sport usually takes 6-9 months post op and prognosis is based on a host of factors. ACL injuries often result in damage to other structures in the knee such as the meniscus or medial collateral ligament which can affect outcome. Player’s response to rehab varies a great deal and secondary injuries or relapses can be an issue. In addition the psychological impact of long term injury shouldn’t be underestimated and fear of re-injury can be a barrier in return to sport."

Seen as you referred to it as flaccid and frigid, I'd describe my weekend as an awkward semi.
If only I had not chickened out of captaining Welbeck. Giving Coloccini one more chance against Hull, instead of lumping on Chambers didn't work out either; basically I did okay in a low scoring week, but my two marginal calls I got wrong. To be honest I'm a bit frustrated about the arrival of Di María, I used to be pleased with my front 8 before he came along.
How about you?
PS Lampard's goal also did me out of a clean sheet, though I'm a Man City fan so I can't complain about a 3 point swing over Chelsea.
Wish I hadn't followed the pack and made Costa captain but I guess you couldn't argue with his form. Had Ulloa on my bench as I fancied more from Spurs so went for Chadli in a 3-5-2 rather than 3-4-3. I think it was a case of not being brave enough to deviate from the pack. Week 5 was such a strong points week for everyone you didn't wanna risk losing big ground again.
But as always I'm confident of good things going into this game week (it's only during and after that I don't lol)

I was super confident for Week 1, 2, and 5. One and two were exceptional, all gone to shite since. However Week 6 and 8 are going to be goldmines. Mark my word!RichardVHarris wrote:

Just me!
I do other videos with two others but FFF is all me.
I'm honoured to be speaking to THE Jessie's Giants. Youre one of the very few who's managed to stay in the top three for more than one week.

I think we need to do a March to raise awareness and possibly a telethon. Anything to find a cure.travatron wrote:Great show, keep up the good work! we're in serious need of raising F.T.B. awareness

Any device that can connect to the internet should be fitted with a breathalyser to guard against drunken stupidity.
This would cure a lot more than F.T.B although I wouldn't do much browsing ..........

Re: The Fantasy Football Fix: Game Week 6
So I'm away this week so for Game Week 7 it's The Fantasy Football QUICK Fix.
Basically it's a stripped down show because I'm leaving tonight and not back till Saturday so haven't had the time for the usual bangs and whistle.
Just looking at the Ultimate Game Week 7 question. Who Replaces Rooney & Ramsey?
Normal service resumes next week.

Simples...For Rooney, if you don't have Aguero then him. If you do then any striker playing QPR
For Ramsey, anyone in my mini league should most certainly pick Ashley Young and those that do not should pick Stewart Downing to free up funds for the week 8 move that we all know we are going to make.

Loved it as always, Richard.
Following your advice I'm now going to take a long, hard look at those in my team who are outside the template of Costa-Di Maria-Siggy-Fabregas-Sterling-Clyne.

Great stuff again Richard.
Have you thought about adding "FPL" or "FPL Tips" into the title of the videos? I would guess that a lot of people are searching for those terms on YouTube and Google, so it might help you get a load more views if you include them.

Sounds like very good advice
Overall, entertaining stuff again! Getting better indeed there Richard Nice to see my team on Youtube as well haha
PS you might want to get in on FISO's "how do I pronounce [insert random football name]" when referring to Rojo

Good stuff Richard - I like it. It's entertaining, fun & enjoyable - the way FPL should be.
I've always thought there's a market out there for a FPL TV show of some sort - well done
....and yes, you're definitely improving - keep it up.
