38 points moved me from 150k to 7k massive gains yesterday. Season defining GW I think. Only one other person in my mini league has him.gunnersaurus wrote:Those 38 captaincy points are going to do wonders for most people's ranks as he's not massively owned, was 12% last time I looked.

Can't wait to see how high I jump to, gonna have to wait until tomorrow, currently on 470 (started the GW at 387) with Wilson, Sigurdsson and Di Maria still to play so expecting a big leap.

Krul
Clyne Wilson Duff
Boyd Sterling Di Maria Fabregas Sigurdsson
Aguero Welbeck
Non playing . McCarthy Costa Van Aanholt Moore.
Ticking along nicely but time to work on the defence.

If he plays 90 tonight it's entirely possible he might get a rest this weekend

I'm not so sure, City are chasing points and surely they won't want to let Chelsea increase the gapBilly Bongo wrote:If he plays 90 tonight it's entirely possible he might get a rest this weekend

If he rests him he'll be admitting that the Capital one cup is their main target for this season.

Re: Is Aguero worth his price tag?
A chance of retrospective action for his 'tread' on Noble according to a couple of reports this morning. That would really p*** on his owner's chips although maybe lucky not to get a red yesterday by the looks

Re: Is Aguero worth his price tag?
Just read this but I thought that retrospective action can only be taken if the ref didn't see the incident? The foul happened right in front of him so he did see it and deemed it not to be a foul.Fergi222 wrote:A chance of retrospective action for his 'tread' on Noble according to a couple of reports this morning. Are we allowed to suggest that Agüero is better than Suárez yet?
Because I've been waiting to say it all season.

Not yet, he needs to keep this level for longer (and this means not getting injured)

Re: Is Aguero worth his price tag?
aguero and suarez are on similar levels skill-wise.
1 key difference bet. the two
suarez is abit of an ironman... doesn't ever get injured
but on the other hand, aguero doesn't have a taste for ivanovic flesh

Re: Is Aguero worth his price tag?
The question looks pretty redundant now, and a few did quickly give the answer that he was, but at the time it was still up for debate.

But there were still plenty that were either unsure, or worse thought Falcao would be better value, or Agüero would only be worth if he scored 9ppg.Carlos Kickaball wrote:- I am just yet to see a genuinely good reason for not having him.Bergkamp_22 wrote:Don't argue with CK on Aguero, it's not gonna get anywhere.

Yeah exactly, at the time there was some merit to opposing views with the topic title.
Obviously now the answer is a resounding yes.

You seemed to keep that opinion to yourself when this thread was started.
Though in all fairness, you have also owned him since before that.

Re: Is Aguero worth his price tag?
He is
But to note, if you think he is going to get the points to justify him being 12.5m then he should be your captain most GW's.... unless Costa has a good home game
