Re: Greasemonkey script to display team data on FPL league page
hi nickchild,
im really excited with the greasemonky script you wrote.
as a fpl player, it has always been on my mind for someone who knows coding to do something like that - pooling a quick chart of all the teams in my league.
thank you very much for it and great job!
would like to get in touch with you via email or private message here if that's possible?
(i actually just joined fiso just so i could post this , but still new so i have limited access/can't pm you)
i have some questions and some ideas as well. hope to hear from you!
cheers.

Re: Greasemonkey script to display team data on FPL league page
I noticed a column missing since the upgrade. It was the column which displayed the number of footballers each FPL player had left to play in the gameweek, and when you hovered over the number, a box appeared with the names of the footballers.

It should still be there....timao1 wrote:I noticed a column missing since the upgrade. It was the column which displayed the number of footballers each FPL player had left to play in the gameweek, and when you hovered over the number, a box appeared with the names of the footballers.
Make sure you have 'Playing Stats' turned on and this will give you the 3 columns for played, yet to play and did not play

Re: Greasemonkey script to display team data on FPL league page
Good luck on the iOS app - I'd definitely buy it and am sure plenty of others would too.
Had an idea for another script or feature for the app. No idea how feasible, but it would be great if when viewing your team's transfers page (in data view rather than pitch view), there was an extra column which displayed the +/-% figure taken from fplstatistics.co.uk, so you could look at your squad and see who is dropping/rising without having to look them up manually. Possible that fplstatistics wouldn't like this of course as people would stop visiting their website so much, but just an idea.

Re: Greasemonkey script to display team data on FPL league page
That would involve a cross site AJAX request which probably isn't allowed by them. The only other way would be to create a webservice on my own site that reads fplstatistics and returns what I need, bit that's all a bit sneaky and I don't want to step on anyone's toes...
One option may be to use CTC if FISO bods and mods allow it... is CTC in a reliable state yet?

Yeah you're right about it all seeming a bit sneaky, wouldn't do it without the permission of the the site you were using. Unfortunately CtC isn't really giving sensible figures at the moment.

Re: Greasemonkey script to display team data on FPL league page
I don't think that would be too great an idea anyway tbh - even the most accurate of the price prediction sites is often fairly inaccurate and so a great deal of the time the script would be display a column of guesswork alongside ten or so columns of factual data.
What I do think is that someone developing a standalone free app for FPLS (in collaboration with the nigel) would be a good idea.

Hi Nick
I've downloaded the plugins for Chrome and Firefox but no joy. The scrip links just display a "404: This is not the page you're are looking for." Error
Any ideas?

Re: Greasemonkey script to display team data on FPL league page
Hi nickchild,
This is a great script! thanks so much for it!
So the "gameweek transfers" and "transfer points hit" are not for the gameweek that is currently playing or just over. Is it possible to have 2 sets? i.e. one for checking just before the gameweek starts and one for the current gameweek? Hope I am not asking for too much Thanks!

Love this.
Suggestions for tweaks? A sort facility for the Data View columns would be nice.

Re: Greasemonkey script to display team data on FPL league page
Hi nickchild,
is it possible to see someone's chip's box as showing "4 with pick background"? Because I saw it this week and if it is showing "4", shouldn't all his chips be used up already? I understand that pink means he is using a chip for the coming gameweek. The pink background is left from last gameweek is it? Thanks.

That's correct... 4 chips, 1 per gw. You can check the details by browsing to that teams gameweek history just to make sure...

Good shout. I'll add it to the other script that adds PPG, PP90, PPH and PPAMister Talons wrote:Love this.

Re: Greasemonkey script to display team data on FPL league page
I'm likely to need a few BETA testers for my iOS app if anyone's interested? It does a similar thing to the script, pulling through the latest scores, captain, chips and players games status.
I'll be running some final tests this weekend, but could do with a hand the following weekend.
If you'd like to help my testing, send me a PM with your email address and list of Apple devices you own and I will add you to the BETA program.
Thanks in advamce!
