Diego Costa Injured rumour
from DEMI on scout
Source of the Costa news. Only coming from one source as far as i can see, and no mention of length of time out. Wait and see if any others pick up on it tomorrow:

Re: Diego Costa Injured rumour
Seems legit, it was his hamstring bugging him before.
BALOTELLI
If it's true, so long as his price doesn't drop, I'll keep him in for the weekend (no point taking a 4ph), then WC.

I think as Demi says, wait and see if picked up, so far it's only The Sun and i would want more than that before acting

Suspect things to be confirmed tomorrow. Chelsea FC fans on twitter just tweeted it so i'd have thought it's true.

Re: Diego Costa Injured rumour
Chelsea fans on ffs saying Rob Beasley's confirming it, but with any social media stuff, it spreads like wildfire but doesn't make it any truer.
Wait and see for me but lucky i can upgrade to Kun if true as saved transfer and have cash. A lot of wildcards next week if true.
Anyone have Dzeko (probably ok), Giroud and Costa?

Re: Diego Costa Injured rumour
Might make it a bit more interesting, splitting Costa and Giroud owners across not only the other usual options, but with Ballotelli arriving, Everton sounding like they will start Eto, Drogba, and the ManC 3 causing head scratching...

Hmm, if true it would make things interesting.
Aguero looks tempting, as does Hazard and switching to a 5 man midfield.

Just to cheer up Chelsea fans, wasn't it a couple of hamstring injuries in succession that preceded the loss of his explosive acceleration that lead to Torres changing from being a world class striker to a journeyman?

With Giroud and Costa injured, there's sure to be a massive bidding war for the signing of Nikola Žigić.

Negredo's down. Aguero as ever is teetering on the edge. Jovetic has yet to put a long run of games together in the Premiership, and Dzeko is, well, just Dzeko.
If only Super Mario was still there to meet their potential striker crisis.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... -blow.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It is understood Costa suffered a hamstring problem in training on Wednesday that has prompted fears he could be out for up to six weeks.
But Chelsea are hoping further assessment will show the injury is not too bad and Costa has still not given up on facing Everton at Goodison Park.

Well ffs. Nice laid plans and all. Absolutely no idea what to do now.
Guess I could take Jovetic like everyone else. Prefer Aguero but would need a hit.

Have a plan to get Aguero. eff crazy, but avoid the new Jovetic template and gets me the guy I really want. One hit, but worth it...I hope!

Friendlyitis.
Will miss the weekend or maybe even 'be risked'. Then rests for international fixtures before miracle recovery.

I think Costa has taken enough risks with his hamstring over the last few months don't you?

Re: Diego Costa Injured rumour
FFS. Had 2 FTs but already used 1 to transfer Eriksen de Jong + 1m to the bank. I was planning to save 1 transfer to the next GW. Next GW I would have downgraded someone to 0,5m cheaper and then I would have had 1,5m in the bank so a transfer Rooney/Costa Agüero would have been plausible.
No idea what to do now. Maybe stick with my original plan, bench Costa and play with Bojan. However, Bojan is yellow flaged too.

Re: Diego Costa Injured rumour
Yes, any hamstring problem means a minimum of a few weeks out and even though the international break is well timed, Chelsea will have to be extremely cautious about his return less he excerbates the problem..gunnersaurus wrote:I think Costa has taken enough risks with his hamstring over the last few months don't you?
